Relax with friends and family in a 5 bed/4 bath waterfront property that sleeps 14. 2500 sqft dock has a beautiful patio area, 2 boat lifts, and a jet ski lift. Kayak and SUP use included. Main house has a large deck with sweeping sunset views, a patio that seats 15, 2 full kitchens, and a game room. Relax on the lake with lawn games, a hammock, and a fire pit.

Race Weekend Stay

Our group had a great time staying at this peaceful lake property. The lake is so quiet, and it was great to take a swim after a long day at VIR! All the drivers enjoyed a home cooked meal, and reviewing race video on the various TV options. Great accommodations.

Great Home for All Your Vaca Needs

Great house great property tons of room, great for multiple couples. Lots of big beds, just such a great property, host was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to feed a small army. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Great Dock!!

We spent most of our week relaxing under the covered dock area. We spent lots of time in the water and the kids fished off the dock. House was well stocked and plenty of space for our family.

Great for a large group

We rented for our race team & pit crew for a VIR race. Exactly as described, plenty of space and beds for everyone. Common areas both upstairs and downstairs were great for a large group of people. Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Would love to stay again!

Secret gem in Semora NC!

We had a group of 12, two families, for 5 days and we never ran out of things to do at this house! The way the rooms are spaced, and having two kitchens made it a dream stay for so many people! The lake is beautiful and not too busy. You can float, paddle board, and kayak safely. We will absolutely book again and again, We rent many, many VRBO's each year and this is one of the top homes that we have enjoyed!

Gorgeous lake home loved our visit

This beautiful home was the perfect place to stay for our large group of 10 people. Everybody had their plenty of space and there were plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We had a blast taking the paddle boards and kayaks out on the lake and the dock is a quick walk down from the house and it has its own private boat house with life vests and chairs and other furniture and a wonderful place to hang out. it’s one of the favorite homes we stayed at and we hope to be back again soon. The host was lovely and communicated everything in a prompt manner and we can’t thank her enough.

Rejuvinating

Lovely property on beautiful lake in a quiet and peaceful location. The home was immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty of spaces to be together or apart. The dock is amazing for daytime fun in the sun or evenings catching fish and watching the sunsets. Just all around a great place to reconnect with family and rejuvinate!

Serene

Great location, very clean, and tranquil home away from home while my wife, daughter, and I were in town attending the annual Blue Ridge Rock Festival. It was exactly what we were seeking to have a homebase away from all the noise with plenty of space and a great natural view. Would book again. Fingers crossed internet is upgraded to fiber next year :)

Super nice

Very clean, kitchen well stocked (plates, glasses, silverware). Lots of spices, etc. was too cold this weekend to checkout the waterfront but looked like easy access. Beds were comfy. Super large outside area also that we did not get to use to full potential.

Just Perfect!

This property was exactly, if not better, than what the pictures show. Very clean, neat, spacious, and just simply beautiful. After a long day at the racetrack the comfort of their beds was a huge bonus. Absolutely NO complaints and we look forward to coming back :)

The host was very responsive. The house is really great and comfortable. The only thing is the check out time, 9:30 am, that is very early compering to other houses we stayed in the past. When we asked for a late check out we were asked to pay additional $100 for 3:30 hours ..

Graduation stay but will def come back

We came for a graduation that was in Durham. Once I saw this house I knew this was the one! The grass is greener, the air is fresher, the vibe is more peaceful then the pictures can describe. If you are going during warmer months get a boat from NC marine they are so nice!the house is just breathtaking seriously..I didn’t want to leave lol ..Jennifer is very responsive as well.. was a very easy experience and pleasant

Perfect for a family

My family with little kids and a dog stayed for lake fun and a racetrack weekend at VIR. We loved the house, location, property, and dock. It’s a quick drive to VIR. The house was very clean and well organized. It had lots of pots, cooking supplies, towels, shampoo, soap, etc… The house has an awesome yard and is in a nice little cove off the lake. We loved being able to easily walk from the dock to the house and the dock was comfortable to sit on. It was such a plus to be able to run back and forth on a gently sloping path. We had meals and coffee on the lovely covered deck with a fan going so we didn’t have to worry about mosquitoes. It’s an awesome place and we hope to visit again!

Peaceful space

This home was exactly the location and size we needed when we had our daughter's wedding at our lakehouse also on Hyco Lake. It provided such a serene place for coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the beautiful yard and lake before all the chaos of a weekend wedding ensues. Jenn was absolutely wonderful in her communication with me, thorough and timely. Although us as Parents of the Bride didn't spend much time there, what we did was very comfortable and restful. The other family that stayed here raved about how beautiful and spacious (and separate) the downstairs area was. As we were coming and going different times of the day, this was very helpful in our accommodations. So very happy this beautiful place was part of such a special weekend on Hyco Lake !

Excellent Lakehouse in a Quiet Setting

3 generation post-Covid reunion was perfect thanks to this lovely house with all amenities, beautiful lakefront view, and attentive service from Sharon. THe house is stocked with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the Bluetooth speaker, cornhole set, and dock, watching the boats go by while enjoying cold beverages from the downstairs fridge. It was quiet and peaceful during our Easter stay. Construction on the house next door was evident but never intrusive or distracting. The nearest proper supermarket is about 20 minutes drive. RDU, shopping and activities were generally a 1 hour, mainly rural drive. We would definitely stay here again while visiting our college student.
