"We enjoyed this hotel at the beginning of our Camino. It was convenient to everything and we were able to walk from the train station. "

"I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."

"The good points were the daily cleaning and bed-making service was good and I liked the cube storage. Also, reception gave us good recommendations for excellent French food.
However, the first room we were assigned had not been cleaned and we found glass on the floor of the second room. The bathroom 'tiles' needed cleaning of the pretend grouting. We could not get an evening meal in the restaurant as it was only for a pre-booked group. There was no bottled water or kettle in the room. The mattresses are foam and killed my back. My first experience of an Ibis and not one I wish to repeat - I hate to think what the Budget Ibis is like."
