Very friendly, polite, professional. Thanks to the team and their excellent attitudes and hospitality, this was not a complete disappointment. I can NOT be the first to point out how bad the physical state of this property is. If I had not pre-paid, I would have stayed elsewhere after seeing the room. FILTHY! Bathroom had the vague smell of sewage. Mold was in the shower and around the sink. Floor was not clean. Bed linen was HORRIBLE! Towels smelled after slight wetness like drying hands. Nothing other than floor towel and bath towel provided, but ONLY after requesting them. Bleach needs to be used and linen needs to be replaced periodically. Whatever year this property was opened was likely the only time anything was replaced or renovated. Everything at the Ibis Semarang Hotel needs to be replaced, but this will not happen because as stated before many others MUST have made similar obsevations in the past, yet the property is still aweful. I wish I had the foresight to have checked. Accor should be embarassed and should do the right thing. Will they?
