Checked on us multiple time to ensure our stay was perfect. The view from the apartment is everything, we were able to see the northern lights twice without even leaving the apartment. This apartment was clean and cozy— had all the essentials. The bus is right across the street if you aren’t driving and the northern lights viewing spot is walkable from the apartment. Absolutely recommend. The Apartment is close to the sea in a quiet neighbourhood yet you can get easily to central Reykjavik with car or bus (or take a long walk by the sea). There is all neccessairy equipment in Kitchen and bathroom and you can wash and dry clothes in a room in the basement. Everything in the apartment was really clean. Siggi and Nanna's space was perfect for our first trip to Iceland. Or was warm, inviting, and it had everyone we needed to enjoy our trip. The kitchenette was stocked with all the tools we needed, the bed was super comfortable, and the seating area was perfect for chats and looking at the water and the Northern lights out the window. There was parking right outside, and the unit is centrally located to Reykjavik without being in the hustle and bustle of it. Siggi was super communicative and hospitable despite having been on holiday outside the country himself. We can't wait to return and we hope we can return to this space again. In Seltjanes you have everything, the peace, the sea and the view of it on two sides, the proximity of the city, a half-hourly bus connection to the city and the possibility for walks. The nearest supermarket is three stops or a 15-minute walk away. A very cosy restaurant overlooking the sea is 12 minutes away on foot. Oh my goodness. What wasn’t there to like? First of all, the photos don’t do this place justice. It is a very spacious studio apartment, clean and has everything you need. It is very easy to get into downtown Reykjavik by bus #11 (15 min) or by Hopp scooter (20ish minutes). Siggi also let us borrow his bike! There is also a parking space included. We actually saw the northern lights from our window during our stay, which was even more amazing! But the real reason our stay was so memorable is how communicative and friendly Siggi was. Though we didn’t get a chance to meet, he was responsive and available to answer any question. Thank you Siggi for having us in your awesome property!
