"It's decent for the price and great for a quick night's rest. Overall the room was nice as far as the comfort of the bed and pillows. There was no shower liner however which was weird being that the shower curtain itself had been cut short. Do not expect a breakfast that you'd find at Holiday Inn here. It's very limited so grabbing breakfast elsewhere is your best bet. If I needed to grab a room for a quick layover this is it but definitely not for multiple days. Still an easy 4 out of 5 for me though."

"Upon arrival I found that the room was attractive, clean, and smelled fresh, no chemical smells or sticky surfaces. I love the colors and simple modern furnishings, comfy bed and fresh, clean bed clothes. I enjoyed being in the room! There was a nice size mini-fridge (with freezer area for ice packs), a new microwave, plenty of hot water…"

"The hotel is clearly in need of a renovation. I have photos of our bathroom ceiling above the shower where there was clear and obvious water damage that has been left unattended for far longer than a few days to at least a month. It was unsightly and unnecessary to leave it in that condition. There were also large and long black hairs on the shower curtain that had obviously not been cleaned, at least recently. Lastly, the wood floors were filthy with clearly no attempt to have cleaned them. My wife's feet after walking on the floor for a short period of time in our room were black on the bottom. The floors were disgusting. We stayed at another hotel in Wilmington, North Carolina, also with wood floors in the room. They were clean and no problem. I'm guessing that management will offer the standard we're so sorry, we strive to provide the best customer experience and we take serious customer comments. if that were the case, there would have been no need for me to make these comments here. Hotels.com should be ashamed of having this property among their options. I've been a long time member and don't appreciate this kind of accommodation no matter how much or little I spend for an evening."

"My family stayed in Hartsville this past weekend for a wedding. The house was very beautiful, well furnished, attention to detail and period of when house was built, every amenity you could think of, a lovely home for our family of 6. The host had stocked all coffee supplies needed, above and beyond, a game room with a pool table, fun for our adult kids and all linens as well. The front porch was lovely, we enjoyed sitting there all through the weekend. You could walk downtown and take advantage of the multiple restaurants. The hosts were gracious and very attentive. A wonderful place to stay, convenient to all places downtown area. Would definitely stay again."

Lakefront Paradise!

"We rented this place as my husband was working on a project a town over & this was the most convenient location for us. The check in process was smooth and communication was great. The home looked to have been recently renovated & had some nice features like the microwave drawer which my husband swears we will be installing in our home. The lake was beautiful & the deck/patio was a great spot to just sit watch the water & enjoy the sunshine. Improvements to consider: 1-more cookware/bakeware. There was only 1 small cookie sheet & the stovetop cookware was minimal w/just a couple small saucepans & a small & smaller skillet. 2-A better set of knives. The ones available in the unit were dull & a couple times I came close to slicing my hand. 3-A larger coffee pot. Fortunately, we travel w/a keurig. 4-Some additional blankets. While there were plenty sheet sets, there were only 2 thin blankets. I ended up buying 2 blankets for myself bc I’m always cold. 5-Lastly & I am not sure this could be done, but adding an island or bar area where those who work from home could set up. The small cafe table was difficult to set up a laptop, external hard drive, & portable scanner on. PSA for anyone who is a light sleeper, the location sits on a busy road & most nights the traffic didn’t die down until about midnight. Please understand that this is NOT something that the owner/management company can control. Overall, I loved this property & would definitely consider staying here again."
