LOCATION DETAILS: Tucked away in a quiet West Sedona neighborhood, this home is within walking distance to grocery stores, spas, restaurants, ATV and bike rentals. You are a short walk to the Arizona -Shuttle stop in Sedona. This resort-style shuttle provides transport to and from Phoenix airport and is perfect for guests arriving separate from the group. West Sedona is ideal as you will be able to avoid the traffic that can be a nuisance in other areas such as uptown and chapel. You will be in the center of it all, with hiking and access to trail heads in every direction. West Sedona is ideal for access to some of the areas best hiking trails. Book a tour through companies like Pink Jeep Tours and Red Rock Balloons. You will also find the best restaurants and spas close by including Mariposa, where you can take in stunning panoramic views. You'll only be 3 miles to uptown Sedona where you can spend the day browsing shops and art galleries - be sure to stop by the Cowboy Club to try some fried cactus and rattlesnake! For an experience that can't be missed, head to Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village where you will find the work of local fine artisans and several dining options. No trip to Sedona is complete without a trip up Oak Creek Canyon! Continue on to Slide Rock, the famous natural waterslide carved into the red rocks, only 15 minutes from the house. The Sedona Public Pool, only a few dollars for entry, is a three minute drive from the house and provides panoramic red rock views while cooling off. Plan a day trip to Flagstaff where you will find some great skiing as well as Humphrey's Peak, the highest point in Arizona, only 45 miles from the home. City of Sedona noise regulations (SCC 8.25.060) enforces quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. \- Must be at least 25 years old to book (photo ID may be required) \- Doors must be kept closed (even when checking in/out). \- We are a no shoes house (feel free to bring slippers or house shoes!) \- Propane will be full for the BBQ grill (2 tanks), however, guests must refill (top off) what you use right around the corner at Ace Hardware (2 min from the house) for $4 per gallon. The house is exactly as advertised and even exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked, and we greatly enjoyed its lovely, peaceful deck and backyard overlooking Thunder peak. Every bedroom is nice and there is gracious space for gathering. The location was also just perfect - central to the various hiking and scenic spots we were interested to check out, so close to the downtown shopping, and yet wonderful to retreat to our retreat outside of the traffic (with Whole Foods even walkable). We hope to return and highly recommend this beautiful house. ##### April A. This property is amazing, in a quiet and dark neighborhood that was so nice to come back to each night. We loved spending nights in the hot tub looking up at the stars, and eating breakfast each morning cozied up to the fire. The main bathroom is lovely - with a huge shower and tub. We had a few issues with the fireplace in the living room not working well, but sounds like that may be getting fixed. Everything was perfect and well thought out! He hasn’t left any detail out. The backyard is stunning!! We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view. The house is very well appointed and spacious. The backyard is just lovely with a great view. We enjoyed our stay very much… Stephen was quick to communicate if needed and he had lots of good suggestions/travel info at the house. The master bedroom and bathroom were especially large and comfortable! The house was incredibly clean. Stephen helped us with our reservation as it was a bit of a last minute decision to stay in Sedona. He replied instantly to all the questions we had. The backyard was amazing! Having the Hot tub and firepit for the chilly evenings was an added bonus. Every place we went to see was only a short drive!
