Service animals only (no emotional support animals). No exceptions. The garage is currently unavailable for use. We have a tankless water heater. It heats on demand and takes about 60 seconds to warm up. Once it's hot, it's HOT! We have a septic tank. Therefore, only septic-safe toilet paper and soaps can be used. We use Angelsoft TP and provide 4 rolls per bathroom for your stay. Please do not use any powder detergents, powder dishwasher soap or fabric softener. Dishwasher soap and laundry soap is provided for your stay. The following household items are stocked by housekeping- Angelsoft toilet paper (4 rolls per bathroom), dish soap, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. We try to keep basic things like baggies, foil, etc. in the house but we can’t guarantee them so please bring your own if you specifically need them. There is also a grocery store 5 min away (Clark’s Market). If you have any questions about what we have at the home please feel free to message us! No smoking/vaping is allowed inside the house. Outside smoking/vaping is permitted. Please discard your cigarette leftovers safely. Do not throw them outside or in the trash cans. Minimum age of primary renter is 21\. The primary guest must be present at time of check in. The primary guest must submit identification verification prior to their stay. Check in time is 4pm. Early check in may be available, please contact us. Maximum guests limit of 8 adults total. Anyone over 18 is considered an adult as far as we are concerned. Bring as many kids as you want. :) Security cameras in use. We use our cameras to monitor our home for security issues and to watch wildlife. We do not invade your privacy, we don't have that kind of time on our hands! :) All cameras point outwards of the house. Tampering, or destroying, covering, or disconnecting the cameras is not allowed. Any tampering with Wifi or outdoor cameras will result in immediate termination of guests reservations with no refund for unused days. Please do NOT push the reset button on the router. This will reset the entire network to default and anything connected to WiFi will no longer be connected. If you are having any internet issues please contact us immediately. Unplugging the router and plugging it back in is allowed if necessary. There is NO street parking in our neighborhood. There is room for 4 cars in the driveway. No Parties/events are allowed without prior consent from me (Veronica). No check-in/out on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. The hot tub is cleaned on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by a professional company. It is treated with bromine. No glass is allowed in the hot tub area. Please replace cover when not in use. No fireworks and no shooting allowed within the neighborhood. If you want to go shooting, contact us and we can give you some recommendations on where to go. If you set the children’s tent up, please take it down before you check out. Our home is located in the Village of Oak Creek. It's a cute little village outside the heart of Sedona that has access to many hiking trails, local restaurants, bars, art galleries and so much more! We LOVE downtown Sedona but we LOVE the quietness (and less traffic) that the Village of Oak Creek provides. Our home is located in the Oak Creek Country club neighborhood. Last but not least, we live next to the wilderness. You may see a wide array of animals. These animals include but are not limited to: Mountain Lions, bobcats, deer, javelina, snakes, turkeys, bats, spiders, stray dogs, tons of lizards, scorpions, so many birds, raccoon, bees, butterflies and others! What is a Javalina? It’s an animal that kinda looks like a creepy pig but is actually the largest land rodent. Will they hurt you? The ones in our neighborhood are very docile. You will likely encounter one on your stay in Sedona. They are scared of you and will run if you try to approach them. We have a three legged one in our neighborhood and she just had a baby so be on the look out! View from the back of the house is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty to do around the house from eating, shopping, hiking, family owned businesses, etc. The only reason for 4 stars on location is that 6 miles from Sedona takes a bit longer to drive than expected given speed limits, round abouts, and traffic. The views were unbeatable. Very close to groceries and restaurants but on a very quiet street. The host was accomodating and responsive. The host was very organized in pre-arrival information as well as after we arrived, easy to contact and quick to respond, although we really didn't have any issues, just a couple questions. It was perfect for us. The house is in a great neighborhood, is clean and spacious, and has absolutely incredible views. It was super easy to get to great hiking and fantastic restaurants. The hot tub was used every day. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely stay there again if we’re back in the area. ##### Jason M. Six of us recently stayed at the lovely Agave Abode. This property is in a great, quiet location, just a short 20 minutes away from the hustle of Sedona. Everything you need is close by, including great hiking trails, restaurants, and the most incredible views right in your own backyard! The house itself is comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. The host was very easy to communicate with, and was very responsive to any questions. We had so much room and the hot tub was perfect after long hikes. The host was so amazing at responding when needed. They have thought of everything to make the stay so easy. We stay in Sedona every August for an annual golf outing and always rent a house. This was the best one we have stayed in to date. The house is very nice and comfortable. The location is great. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the back porch was just a fantastic place to be. From the beautiful views, to the countless stars, to the incredible number of animals that paraded though the yard, it was simply breath taking. Veronica is a wonderful host and was very responsive. So was the property! I booked this house simply because the owner was spot-on when communicating with me...and the house did not disappoint! Loved the view and really appreciated the cold water upon arrival after a lengthy drive. The decor was gorgeous and we did not have any issues. Saw many hummingbirds, butterflies and even a deer one morning. My only complaint is that I didn't book enough nights at this beautiful place! ;-) Loved the location too...the trail close to the house was incredible because we were the only ones on it! Even before we arrived, Rebecca was extremely pro-active, providing insight into places to eat and things to do for our trip. The excellent communication continued throughout our stay.The house itself was fantastic. It is in a a very convenient location within the Village of Oak Creek, with only a very short drive to many wonderful hikes in the Sedona area, and with shops and restaurants close by, just a few minutes away. We had all the amenities we needed in the house for some quick meals when we didn't want to go out. The view from the backyard was beautiful and peaceful, and the house was extremely comfortable, quickly becoming our home away from home. Overall we couldn't have asked for more (as the hot tub setup was also great) and we would be eager to stay here again if we make it back to the area. My husband & I vacationed with two other couples who we've been friends with for years & we really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was great after our hikes & the guys loved playing corn hole in the beautiful yard. The back yard/patio area was so nice to hang out in. All the couples raved about how comfortable the beds were!! It was so nice having such a big table to fit all of us around comfortably for meals. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The home was decorated really nice! Veronica was very responsive with any questions. We would all totally recommend this property!! ##### Wendy D. This house has the best views. One glance and you are captivated. The area is quite convenient to restaurants and hiking trails. House was spotless, well situated and spacious. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a day of walking and sightseeing. The Welcome book did a great job explaining important information. Veronica was very helpful and answered any question right away. We will be back. Oh…quail, deer, hummingbirds and we heard coyotes but we never got to see a Javelina. Next time! ##### Ellyn S.
