"Wonderful little house. Actually not that little! You could put an air mattress in the living room easily. Everything was top-notch. Super clean, super quiet, very pretty area. Excellent communication with hosts. Very well stocked with everything you could need, and lots of little extras like sandwich bags and coffee! Lots of thoughtful little touches like a phone plug in the kitchen. Nice cozy electric fireplace in the living room. I could easily stay here for a month. Hope to return next summer. Would give it 6 stars if I could."

"It was so smooth and easy to stay here! We loved the fishing, amenities were just right, hooks in all the right spots and little touches felt generous! We loved being able to clean ourselves out the door without a cleaning fee and it was a perfect amount of cleaning supplies. The checkout was easy and the privacy was perfect! This is a hidden gem, we will definitely be back and are so grateful for places like this so close to the city! The host just has thought of all the details you need to know and is very available as needed if questions come up. You will not regret staying here if you’re lucky enough to choose it and come! Thank you!!!"

"The kitchen is big and well appointed with plenty of dishes and almost everything we needed. The host was quick to respond to questions. The view and setting is beautiful. We especially loved the big round table that seats 12 for our retreat. The exterior looks nice and the fire pit chairs very nice.There were plenty of games and DVD’s but we couldn’t get the lower level TV to work. Also there are speaker wires hanging down from the corners- removed? Stolen? What we were disappointed most about was that the place looks tired inside. The furniture in the living room was old, couch ripped and sagging, rugs worn and dirty looking, fireplace didn’t work, screens ripped, lots of flies in the house. The beds were squishy and bedding looked very old. The whole place could use a good scrub and fresh paint, and deferred maintenance taken care of."

"This home was perfect for our 5 day stay with 12 adults. The layout of the home offers plenty of space for everyone to be together when they want, and privacy for small groups and individuals when they don’t. The lake set up is amazing for swimming and kayaking off the dock, or just enjoying a peaceful sunrise. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking for a houseful and the multiple refrigerators were a real bonus for our food and drink. The communication with Lisa from well before to well after our stay was fast, friendly, and thorough. You can book with confidence, you will not be disappointed."
