"The hotel had a lot of olde-world charm, the staff were very friendly, we could park outside easily.
The area around the hotel wasn't the greatest but no worries and we could walk to shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay there again"
"Gabriel at the desk was very helpful and professional. The facilities were superb. We loved the spa and pool. The room spacious the separate toilet and bath area was great for our family meant while in the shower the use of the toilet was free.
Shame there was no availability to extend my stay. We will visit again. "

"Brilliant service - great place for easy access to Le Shuttle"
"We had a wonderful overnight stay at this beautiful hotel. Lots of character and so much love and care had obviously gone into it by the owners. We were lucky enough to have booked our evening meal there which was delicious, and we ate alongside the owners and other guests which made it extra special. One sitting at separate little tables, the atmosphere and warm welcome was and one of the best hotel dining experiences i have had . Room (The Lady Hamilton ) was spacious and thoughtfully decorated with a very comfortable bed . Breakfast which was included and was plentiful and delicious, with lots of little unexpected extras ( homemade yoghurt , muesli and freshly squeezed OJ) One of the owners is a chef and you can definitely tell ! Both owners (and their children) are really lovely. We only had one night here but will definitely come back next time we are in the area . If you are looking for a special , FRENCH hotel stay when you’re in or near Calais I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. It was easy to get to from le shuttle and is much nicer than the big chain hotels around that area . You know you’re in France and will be made very welcome. Thanks again for such a lovely stay. "
"This is a great hotel, and the perfect jumping off point for people using the Eurotunnel. Lovely clean room, breakfast caters for all sorts and starts really early. Can eat evening meal in the restaurant too, but we didn't this time. Staff are friendly and polite. Will earmark this one for next year!"
"We only stopped for a few hours sleep before catching the ferry to UK. Room was very basic but enough for our needs. Coffee facilities. Bed was comfortable. Thank you. "
"A very pleasant stay. Old world French charm with friendly staff. The nights were a little warm without air conditioning, but the price was very fair being so close to downtown."
