Extremely dated property
The little cottage is quite quaint. It’s a bit rough around the edges being so old. The windows do not open on the outer door. Do not have any weather sealing. There are thorn bushes surrounding the property, as well as a number of dog droppings that I picked up so that they wouldn’t think that my dog left them there. I actually didn’t stay the weekend. As I got ready to go to bed, it looked as if the bedsheets had not been changed. They were extremely wrinkled and looked slept in and there was hair in it. I changed the sheets myself, but ended up getting some bug bites or flea bites, and we actually left the first night of the stay to go back home.

never again
musty smell for a day and a half, only stayed 2 nights. Housekeeper cleaning at 3:30 pm, check in at 4? maybe she could have come sooner and aired out the place. Pictures make the place look new and sparkly so the pictures must be ten years old, as was the furniture. No latch on the door, just the deadbolt with the pin# to get in. Roof leaked some. No dishcloth so had to leave dirty dishes. 3 people can't set on a couch together(that's cramped) the other seating is wood chairs. There was a cushion chair in the bedroom that wasn't comfortable. not coming back

Seaview blues
Seaview is an amazing place to visit. The rental cabin in which I stayed is NOT. The owners-managers are great at lip service. The home was very dirty, I had to wash every dish I used. Dead bugs on the fixtures, outlets broken, heater caused the smoke detectors to go off and front porch steps overgrown with black berries. I checked out a day early on my 3 night rental. Still waiting to hear if I’ll get any money refunded. I’ll be booking through another agency. This was NO vacation!

Photos misleading
House was not clean. Missing basic amenities like a can opener, water does not even close to get hot. All pans and dishes are EXTREMELY worn, like completely missing any nonstick coating. You would think with how much we payed to stay here for 3 night, they could afford to upgrade some basic things like dishes and shower heads. There is ventilation in the entire home, and you can't even open windows to get fresh air, there are no screens on them anyways. There were several large black ants we had to kill while we were there, and also found mouse traps throughout the house.

Perfect Little Cottage
This house is adorable - not fancy, mind you - but absolutely perfect for our little family during a quick get away to the Coast. It was located within walking distance to a grocery store - which was wonderful for easy meal prep. It was even a nice longer walk to local shops and restaurants. The house was clean, cozy, quaint, simple yet well thought out and perfect for relaxing after a busy day of exploring.

Sweet spot for a short stay
We stayed one night for a quick trip to the coast. It was winter and the house was cold. Lots of space heaters though so just be prepared to crank up the heat and bring some slippers. Beds were comfortable - memory foam mattresses. But the pull out couch was broken so one person had to just lay on the couch cushions. Would have appreciated heavier curtains on the front windows. The street lights are bright and the curtains are very thin so it felt like daylight at night.

Cute little house and mostly met our needs. Super close to town and the grocery store. Not as clean as I’d hope though and they shorted us on the tp. 3 rolls for 4 people for 7 days! The front bedroom had a major moisture problem with mold on the wall, there was dog hair matted on the back of the sofa bed cushions, and the sofa bed was about the worst sleep you can imagine with the bar in the center quite visibly sticking out of the mattress without anything on it. Really wish there were screens on the windows because the mosquitoes were a big problem from the standing rainwater in ditches. Still, we’d might rent this house again. It wasn’t terrible and the price was right.

Cute beach cottage
Overall we had a great stay. House is very cute. Close and convenient location. There were enough supplies to cook and the few kids toys and games were a pleasant surprise. The only two downsides were 1. The shower is TINY—definitely shave before your trip, not an easy task in that thing. (I’m 5’1”/120lb and I’m saying it’s small) it’s an old house and it is what it is but I don’t know how normal sized adults clean themselves, also there isn’t a tub if you have little ones you’ll have to clean them in the small shower which also wasn’t that easy. 2. The blankets and sheets on the bed my husband and I stayed in smelled like syrup and dog which wasn’t great. Luckily there were other blanks in a cabinet we were able to find but there wasn’t a washer/dryer so had there not have been it would have been a pretty uncomfortable stay. Like I said, overall very happy with the place. We’d go again.

Not what it seems
Looked good from the outside. Inside was not good. Bed sheets were not clean, none of the dishes/pans/utensils were clean, floor was dirty (I swept myself and there was tons of dirt, dust, and dog hair). Top all of that off with large ants in the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Bathroom trash was also left from the previous guests. There was no fire wood in the home for the fireplace and the key for the shed to get more wood was not in the home. I attempted to contact the property about this with no response. Owners/Vacasa needs to step it up. I would not recommend this place to anyone else. Not sure how this place has gotten such good reviews.

What a cute historic little house. I really appreciate the 3d photo tour of the property. It captures the place very well and I suggest taking a look. The place was very clean and had just the right amount of amenities to have a nice stay. Be sure to bring your own salt and pepper as there are no condiments left over from previous guests. The house is located in a historic part of Seaview where many of the houses date back to the early 1900's. With that, expect what you might think of a house build in 1900. Be sure to set the thermostat before going to bed or you might be a bit cold. My wife and I enjoyed staying here and are already thinking of plans to go back.

Ah, the adventures of a January getaway, when the rains they come and come and come some more! The floods waters rose around the cabin, but inside we drank tea, did puzzles and stayed cozy. Beds were comfy, lots of heaters to keep the January wet chill at bay and lots of towels for drying off after our walks outside! Only comment: wish the water heater got warmer than "not cold." But we saved water with our very quick showers! :-) A no frills, perfect location for a quiet weekend! Thank you!

Convenient, comfortable location
From other reviews we were prepared to bring any special cooking equipment we might want and warm clothes. The weather was excellent - no rain and lots of sun. Each room had some sort of small heater so we had no issues with being cold. The wood burning stove door needs some improvement and the supplied firewood was wet and didn't want to burn. Luckily, my husband brought extra (dry) firewood and in the end we were begging him to not put more wood in the stove. The house is old and once we became accustomed to its unique charm it was okay. It's an easy walk to the beach and clamming was the best this time. The proximity to Sid's Market is the house's star perk. Several trips were made there for forgotten items. No need to go hungry at Camp Hungry.

Very Basic Lodging
House is old and not well insulated. Bring your own kitchen items and cleaning wipes. This is an ok place for people on a budget who want the privacy of a house over a hotel but it is not particularly comfortable and in the winter it would be difficult to be warm enough even though they have an assortment of electric heaters and a woodstove. The bathroom is not suited for larger people. There is a step between the bathroom/kitchen and the living room/bedrooms (the bathroom/kitchen appears to be an addition). Location is convenient to services. Once property managers were reached they were helpful.

Nice little cottage
The property was clean and worked out well for our stay. I would much rather stay in a place like this than a motel room. There were a couple of things which would have made the stay all the better. The T.V. was a bit on the small side, especially mounted clear across the room. The wood stove was next to useless. I was able to build a fire in it, but it never warmed up much. The next night, I built a roaring fire in it, using all the firewood left, and the stove did not warm the place up at all. They do provide space heaters and have heater vents throughout the house, but because the house is so drafty, it took all day to warm up. The driveway is rutted out pretty badly. It really needs a rock bed to keep from making mud puddles when it rains, which it tends to do in the winter. There was a pretty decent selection of pots and pans, but what is really missing is a cookie sheet and a couple of baking dishes. We had to be creative to cook our meal. The beds are only full size, and the couch is a futon. The futon is not very comfortable to sit on. The house could really use a full-size couch with a sleeper. The last thing I am confused about is the amount of cleaning which is required of me when I check out, yet I am being charged a $70 cleaning fee.

I should have looked at the pictures closer.
I could write about what my wife and I didn't like about this rental, but instead, I'll just mention that we paid for two nights, and only stayed for one. Come morning we were looking for something more livable. I knew for the price we wouldn't be getting a luxurious rental, but this one fell somewhat below our modest tastes. They do allow pets, though, so they have that going for them. Don't think my wife and I have extravagant tastes or expectations, we often rent humble, rustic, or even ancient, homes or cabins in Montana. But, hey, this maybe just the place you are looking for, check out the photos and decide yourself.

Not as advertised....
I was expecting rustic and that's exactly what we got...some tips for future guests: the beach access is not a block away so expect to walk down to 38th or up to 17th; the kitchen is not well stocked so maybe bring some items from home; if you want a hairdryer that blows warm air then again you might want to bring your own; and your back won't thank you for sleeping on any of the mattresses. All that said, Seaview is a sleepy little spot and we will be back, just not to this rental.

Quaint little cabin
This was a nice little cabin just a couple short blocks from the beach on the Long Beach Peninsula. The cabin itself is very old, however the amenities provided are more than sufficient. We enjoyed easy access to restaurants, shopping and other activities nearby which most were within a 15 minute drive (or less). The only downside to this place was the condition of the beds. Despite comfortable bedding/pillows being provided, the mattresses in both bedrooms are in dire need of replacement as the springs have failed and cause you to sink almost into the frame. Besides the mattress issue, this place is more than suitable for a quick weekend family getaway and will meet most everyone's needs.

Rustic charm
The cottage was a rustic bit of history in our long weekend. We came to visit some of the local historic sites and this place rounded out the weekend with its own historic charm. The cottage has the vertical plank siding, tongue-n-groove interior walls and ceiling and painted wood floors; very cute. Yes it has little insulation so you hear more road noise than normal and the person snoring in the next room but it is still very cozy and comfortable. We loved that it was also dog friendly! Rustic cottage appropriate for families with kids & dogs
I was looking for a clean quiet place. It was quiet until the smoke alarm started beeping due to a low battery at 2 am. The ceilings were high and I could not reach the alarm by standing on a chair. There was no ladder. The house instruction book indicated that there was a night manager on call. I called twice. No one answered. It went to a voice mailbox that shut off before I could leave a message. The noise was driving me crazy so I dragged over a rickety table and put the rickety chair on top of the table. By scaling this dubious tower, I was finally able to remove the device. With a sigh of relief, I plopped onto the couch/futon. When I stood up, my nightgown was full of sand. I realize that it is the beach, but the furniture should get vacuumed. I decided that my Lavender neck wrap would help relax tension and a night without sleep, so I opened the microwave to heat it up. A foul odor spilled out of the device. It reeked. I did not put my Lavender wrap in there. If you require a decent bed, bring your own. Bring slippers, too. I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up, the paper towel was scary. Not a place to walk barefoot. Clearly this was not a great match for me. However, it might be a good match for a family with young children and a dog. They won't have to worry about getting anything dirty. It is also close to Sid's Market which is convenient.

Primitive, small, over priced, few amenities.
This property is located in a nice quiet residential neighborhood. The front porch is nice It does not have a dishwasher or washing machine or even a dust pan. Very small rooms. The vacuum cleaner was weak. There was a funny sign in the rental "Be sure to load and start the dish washer and load the washing machine with towels and linens before you leave". Very small. The stove was ancient and had small electric burners. The cooking pans were beat up and were in poor condition. Lots of additional, and in my opinion, excessive fees. Don't forget sales tax in Washington. We would not rent this house again and will not rent through Vacasa again unless we have no other choice.

Camp Hungry is a cute old cabin that is not very comfortable.
Going to the Washington coast in March might mean you'll have to hunker down by the fire in a comfy chair with a good book. Sadly, there is no comfy anything to sit on here. There is a rock hard futon and what looks like a waiting room chair and several wooden kitchen type chairs. The wood stove is nice but with all the wood in the wood shed being damp, it was hard to get started and harder to keep going. It was colder inside than it was out. There were 3 adults in our party and only 2 sets of towels. There were no sheets for the futon which my 6'2" husband resorted to sleeping on because the beds are very old and too short. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and I enjoyed the french press for coffee but there was no water kettle for the stove or hot pads. There was a broom but no dust pan. The lock on the door for the washer and dryer would not open. I think the owner needs to visit Craig's List. Like I said, its a really cute place but would I stay here again or recommend it? No. I'll find another VRBO property.

Not worth the price of this house.
We were told we could not be in the cabin "Camp Hungry" in Long Beach WA until after 4 P.M. so we went clamming as it was low tide time. It started raining and we headed back to the cabin. Upon entering we saw dirty linens on the floor and unmade beds and an uncleaned and prepared home. I called and we asked for a total refund as this was totally unexceptable. They asked if we would like to go to dinner and wait but then called later saying the cleaning person was over an hour away so we would need to just get another place.
