It is a separate apartment constructed under the main house. The back faces the Sound, and has a lovely private deck with an unobstructed view of the Sound. There is a nice dining area, and a kitchen in the back of the unit. The kitchen is quite small, but nicely equipped. The owner is very easy to reach, and very nice. My one caution is that, if you are not used to Seattle, don't check in at night. The bluffs on the Sound side of Seattle can be very steep. Go slowly, arrive in daylight, and you'll be fine.
