The Red Line to downtown is a few blocks away, so it was really easy to use public transport and avoid driving in downtown Seattle and finding parking. Groceries and restaurants are also walkable! The outside space is fenced and adorned with beautiful greenery (as is this neighborhood) and as comfortably arranged as the inside. Simply put, everything is high-end and welcoming at the same time. The host (Cole) has made the entire check-in, check out process a breeze. They are easy to contact, very responsive and offer some great practical tips for navigating Ballard and Seattle in general. The large yard provided ample privacy and a great space to enjoy the outdoors. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies and essentials. Impressed with the host’s attention to detail — we really appreciated the small things like good quality toilet paper and hand soap, portable fans in each room, and accurate labels on the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Off-street parking was very convenient, it was a relief to not have to worry about finding parking. One thing to note — if you are sensitive to air quality, there is a fireplace in the living room that has a pilot light that does not turn off, so you may need to open the windows for ventilation.
