Nestled in one of Seattle's famous greenbelts, our beautifully remodeled and well appointed, private unit is located minutes from downtown Seattle, the waterfront and the University of Washington. Only 2 blocks to catch the local public transport. Light rail within 1 mile. This is a bright daylight private lower unit with owners living above. There is a large patio for your enjoyment. We have easy, fast access to the freeway both North and South. Our Unit is a large fully furnished 2 bedroom, each w/Queen Beds; 1 bathroom with Walk-in shower and a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining rooms. Maximum 3 people. We live in a quiet neighborhood and ask that you respect our home and neighbors. No parties, loud music or noise please. We have a Heritage Tree in our back yard. A London Plane, over 100 feet tall with a 50 foot canopy. A beautiful giant. No pets are permitted in order to provide a healthy space for future guests who may be sensitive. Seattle is an Eco-Friendly city and has comprehensive sorting rules for recycling, food waste and garbage. There is a guide on the refrigerator for your convenience. We provide three separate containers for the different types of waste. We have designed and furnished the unit with adults in mind. It is not safe or appropriate for babies or small children. Please let us know in advance if you have a pre-teen or teen you will be bringing along. Anyone under the age of 21 needs to be pre-approved for a stay. Also, free WiFi. Again, owners live above, there are normal household noises (so if you desire complete silence you may want to look elsewhere.) Cheers!

Clean, warm, and perfectly located. The property is well equipped for long stays and has everything you need to feel at home. John and Rachel were very accommodating and made our stay comfortable and easy. Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping, and the area felt very safe.
This VRBO was perfect for my needs. Close to the UW hospital, grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed an afternoon at Green Lake Park also. The accommodations were spacious and very clean and the hosts left all the perfect touches for us to enjoy! The hosts are onsite, available and very nice and friendly. They went more than out of the way to accommodate us, and it was a sense of security knowing they were around for me! I would highly recommend this VRBO!

I was attending a backyard wedding in Seattle and stayed at this property with my adult son. It was perfect. The location was exactly where we needed to stay to be close to local family. Everything was clean, the owners lived upstairs and were willing to help with anything. The unit is well-equipped, although we didn’t do any cooking. The checkout process was simple. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.
My 87 year old mother and I (almost 60) stayed for 4 nights to visit my daughter and son-in-law. Great renovated basement space. ALL the amenities with great beds/linens, full kitchen, awesome water pressure for the shower (no tub which made shower access much better for my mom), and a cozy family room area. The owners are upstairs but you would hardly know. Private access. The only thing is the outside stairs which have a great motion light and hand rail. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit Seattle.
Property was immaculate. Everything was modern and updated. The kitchen was extremely well equipped if you like to cook. The outside space was beautiful and comfortable. Located in a residential suburban-like neighborhood even though within the city limits. Car is really needed, but not far to downtown and close to UW. Most important, the hosts were kind and accommodating.
The tidiness and cleanliness of the property was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent relaxing in the space. One suggestion, we were very aware (especially in the middle of the night) of the folks upstairs. Perhaps, slippers would help diminish the sound. All in all, it was so worth the price.
Preparing for our trip to Seattle to our son's wedding, we found John and Rachel's VRBO rental as the one that checked all our needs for the wedding weekend- central location to our venues, ease of access from the I-5 Freeway, quiet and peaceful, comfortable, clean and spacious, and affordable.
The suite was spotless and roomy, cool in the heat of summer, everything felt and looked new. Felt more like being on the main floor than a basement. Beds were comfortable, slept well thanks to the quiet location of the property. The kitchen was very well-equipped, we lacked nothing during our stay.
Our hosts communicated very well with us, made us feel very welcome, and we came away feeling we had been cared about in the course of our stay.
