I think it definitely could use some maintenance and could be cleaner. The pictures on the VRBO website are deceiving, especially the back yard. It could use some attention badly. A clean well kept back yard would have been more welcoming. It was nothing like pictures. It was very dirty, overgrown and run down. At the very minimum hose down the patio and sitting areas, play house and lawn games. Make sure that the cushions for the furniture are clean and all there to accommodate guests. The other thing to take note of is that there are a lot of stairs and they are very narrow. If I had known these things I would not have chosen this property. My family and I enjoyed the property. Only thing I’d say is that the backyard is towards an alley and it wasn’t appealing but felt safe. Communication with the owners was amazing. The worst thing was not getting the code to the door until almost check in time. Made us a little worried if we truly had a place to stay. Overall it was a good place and they were very nice. The house was clean and had all the things you need while traveling. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were nice, and the layout was perfect for having our child and her grandparents with us.
