The location was perfect, right next to Green Lake, which was ideal for walks and runs. The house itself is spacious, with bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs, and it accommodated our group comfortably.Unfortunately, we faced several challenges during our stay. The dishwasher had a strong odor and needed multiple cycles before it was usable. The washing machine was filled with dirty water and required a plumber, leaving a rotten egg smell in the basement and remaining unusable for our entire visit. The toaster had a loose filament and caught fire, though management replaced it quickly. Both porch lights were out for the first few nights, making entry difficult for older guests, but management responded promptly. The downstairs bathroom door also jammed, causing one guest to get stuck until someone let her out.To the host’s credit, they were very responsive and compensated us for a night due to these issues. While we appreciated their efforts to help, the number of problems made our stay more stressful than we’d hoped during a busy visit. ##### Jyothi H. Highly recommend the home for families with teens and tweens! There was space for all of us to be in our own areas after a day out together. Very close to coffee shops and restaurants. Nice view and trees around. Quirky older home with steep stairs going upstairs to a jack and jill bathroom which was nice for our two kids age 3 and 6\. Home could use some remodeling and deep cleaning. Furniture and and bedding were comfortable and clean though. ##### Sonya S. The location was the best part. It is only a block away from some great restaurants, a bakery, and coffee. It is directly across the street from Green Lake, which has paths for walks and jogs. The house itself was beautiful. The only complaint was that the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were quite steep which was not safe for our 3 year old, but it is an older home and these are normal stairs for this type of home. We would gladly stay again, and probably will. ##### Jonathan E.
