"The young man at the desk got a room for us and let us check in early. It was much appreciated since we had been up since 4 a.m. Also, they put my family, who arrived VERY late right next to us. So nice and considerate of them. Breakfast was fine, bu the area is very small and it was kind of a zoo. Bath that night was fabulous, good and hot!"
"We had a long day , up at 4 am , drive an hour to the airport. Flight was at 7:30 , 4 hours and 50 minute flight to Seattle. Landed at 9:45 pt, took a taxi to the hotel, another 40 minute drive. We are in our 70’s and would have liked to get an early check in before 4pm, but all we got was a 2pm check in. It could have been better, I requested an early check in when I booked a room several months ago. I was disappointed ."
"We stayed one night before an Alaskan cruise. The two best things about this hotel are its central location and the people who work there. The reason I am giving four and not five stars is that this hotel redefines "a small room". Ours felt more like a mousetrap. I wouldn't be able to stay in that room for more than one night. However, the staff were all amazing, helpful and friendly"
"The Sorrento is a 100 year old well maintained classic hotel. Staff are superb! We enjoyed a double Queen corner suite and it was quite large. Bathroom was updated. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom that cooled the room more than adequately albeit it was a bit loud. There is street traffic which wasn't too bad short of the occasional fire/rescue trucks. If you want a modern, "fresh" hotel this isn't it but it has a lot of charm and their courtyard outdoor patio had live music when we arrived. It was very convenient to family we were visiting downtown."
