Gorgeous Family Lake View House with Gourmet Kitchen and Spa Bath with Sauna

  • Views, views, views and many creature comforts abound in this newly renovated, mid-century modern lake view dream house. Wake up to gorgeous sunrises and close the day with a toast to the PNW gazing over Lake Washington at the Bellvue skyline. This is an amazing family retreat with: Gourmet Kitchen with Wolf, Miele, Bosch, and Breville appliances; Two enormous and gracious primary bedrooms, one with an additional full kitchen and separate entrance from the driveway; Luxury mattresses and bedding in all the rooms; An indoor sauna; Gorgeous living room with big screen TV; Large family dining area with access to plenty of serving dishes, etc. to indulge and sustain a feast; Stunning deck with room for everyone to lounge; Access just a few block down to one of Seattle's favorite Lake Washington beaches; Electric car charging available; Walk east a couple of blocks to adorable downtown Leschi in moments for coffee, wine, a yummy meal, or a quick grocery stop; Walk west to get to classy Madrona in under 15 minutes to find many restaurants, boutiques, and Molly Moon ice cream or the Glass Baby glass blowing factory, amongst other gems. The house is three floors. Access is level and all stairs are internal.

    Main Floor:

Enter into the foyer and experience the architect’s vision: the stairs open before you beckoning you to the three upstairs bedrooms and two full baths.

Turn right into a large living room equipped with a large HDTV for comfortable family viewing. Or simply look east through floor to ceiling windows at the vast expanse of Lake Washington. Formal enough to host friends for a drink, it’s also comfortable enough to cuddle up for movie night as a couple or a group.

Turn left and you’ll find yourself in another small living space perfect to settle down with a book or a mug of your favorite beverage.

Also on the main floor is a dining area that seats 8 comfortably and a gourmet kitchen. Here, too, floor to ceiling glass brings the views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier to you.

The award winning kitchen design is a chef’s dream. It has plenty of hidden secrets including butcher blocks and hand hewn knives. Le Crueset cookware nests in pot drawers, along with other high end cookware. A Breville espresso machine has its own little coffee station, and bakers will delight with the professional grade kitchen aid mixer. From oyster shuckers to a Vita-mix blender, the kitchen will most likely have what you need.

Deck access is through French glass doors.
A small half-bath completes the main floor.

    Upstairs:

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a laundry. All mattresses are Nectar brand’s high end memory foam and beloved by all. Guests have left and purchased them for themselves!

    All bathrooms have heated floors.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and a shower and bathroom. The room has gorgeous views and a skylight, as well as an enormous walk-in wardrobe area.

There other two bedrooms both have Queen beds. One has a bureau and the other has a closet with internal drawer storage. One has stunning views of Lake Washington.

The shared full bathroom has a bath with shower head. Here, too, there is a view!

    Downstairs:

There is a full studio ADU with internal access when the whole house is rented. It has a King bed, a full kitchen, a large HDTV, and a gorgeous spa bathroom.

The bathroom has a two person sauna and a magnificent bath that is designed to keep water hot for much longer than the typical bath. There is a large separate shower, too. The floor has radiant heat that is a joy on a cold winter morning.

A closet and a high end washer and dryer completes the space.

    Carport:

A two-car carport, complete with electric charger, is available for parking. The charger is available for use with an additional fee.

    Heating and AC:

There is new central heating and AC throughout the house. The main floor and upstairs are on the separate system from the downstairs.

Wonderful Stay in Leschi

Beautiful home in a great area just outside of downtown Seattle. House had everything one would need. Large bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a excellent kitchen. Views of Mt. Rainier were incredible. Highly Recommend.

This was as close to perfect as things get! The house was at least as good as advertised if not better. Definitely plan a night in to dine on the deck or in the dining room/kitchen. Location was a fantastic alternative to the downtown hotels and the neighborhood has so much to offer for dining, outdoor activities and general exploration. Getting around Seattle from here was super easy with both a rental car and ride share. The spaces allowed us to gather for meals, games and shows, but also provided quiet spaces for downtime. tUltimately it’s about people and Stacey and Hazel were the best at communicating and assisting us with every little question. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we return.
