The home is located 12 minutes from Discovery Park, 4 minutes from the National Nordic Museum, and only 4 minutes from the Carl S. Botanical Garden! In addition, you are 8 minutes from the Woodland Park Zoo, 8 minutes to Seattle Pacific University, and less then 10 minutes to a plethora of grocery stores. If you would like to explore some of the nearby waterfront restaurants and quite possible the best dining eating and shopping scene in the city (Ballard Ave) is walkable. You are less than 15 minutes from Lake Union, Elliot Bay, Shilshole Bay, Salmon Bay, and Green Lake! We are located approximately 17 miles from Seattle-Tacoma International airport. Being in a central location also means having the convenience of the many bus stops around town. The popular D Line and other convenient buses have the ability to take you from Ballard to Fremont, Climate Pledge Arena, Belltown, and even into downtown Seattle. Simple, beautiful amenities. Lots of stairs which may be an issue for anyone with physical limitations, but the stairs lead to a beautiful private rooftop sitting area. My children were happy and comfortable. The house was very warm it must be well insulated. Lots of staircases making carrying suitcases to the bedroom difficult but that was in the photos. Hardly used our car. So many fun things to do within walking distance. Property was comfortable and spacious. You will get a work out with stairs but worth it. Great with our young adult kids. The location was within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Ballard, even for our younger kids. We loved the neighborhood playground down the street and stopped there on every walk to town. The location was also within east driving distance of downtown Seattle and some of the other stops we made while in the area like Snoqualmie Falls and Mount Rainier. It was a great central hub and we felt very safe in this neighborhood. The house was well equipped and we appreciated the laundry detergent especially as we only did two loads and it was nice not to have to buy any. There were plenty of dishes and linens. The middle floor was quite warm with no A/C, but I understand that is a common thing in the area and there were also record highs the week we were in town which isn’t a usual thing. The only complaint that I have isn’t the fault of the property owners but I did want to mention that parking on the street was not always easy. It’s a very congested area and we had a small car and still had difficulty finding a parking place near the townhouse some evenings when we got back from our outings. We were usually able to park within a block or two, but I wanted to mention it for others that may not be familiar with the area. ##### Jeni H.
