About this property

Central District 4BR Farmhouse — Walk to Light Rail, Fenced Backyard, Sleeps 12

  • A 2,700 sq ft farmhouse in Seattle's Central District — four bedrooms, five queen beds, sleeps 12. Fenced backyard with a brick fire pit, a live-edge acacia dining table that seats six, and the kind of high-ceilinged, character-filled interior that photographs well and lives even better. Judkins Park Light Rail Station is a 5-minute walk — downtown Seattle in 10 minutes, SeaTac in 20, Lumen Field right in between. One of the most central large-group homes in the city.

This is a home that works equally well for family reunions, friend group getaways, sports travel, and multi-household trips. Two floors, four private bedrooms, and a layout generous enough for 12 people to coexist comfortably without anyone feeling crowded.

    THE HOME

A genuine farmhouse aesthetic — high ceilings, warm interiors, and distinctive character throughout. The live-edge acacia dining table is the centerpiece of the main floor, seating six with additional stools for larger groups. The fenced backyard with a brick fire pit is the outdoor gathering space, and the second living room on the lower floor gives the group a second place to decompress when the main floor gets busy.

    First floor:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed, closet, private en-suite bathroom
    Bedroom 2: Queen bed, closet
Bedroom 3: Two queen beds, closet, exterior access (has its own thermostat)
    Shared full bathroom
Living room, kitchen, dining area with live-edge acacia table, laundry room

    Second floor:

    Bedroom 4: Queen bed, closet

Note: Bedroom 1 has a private en-suite. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the main floor bathroom. Groups of 9–12 can request queen air mattresses. Two off-street parking spots in the private driveway.

    THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Central District sits at the geographic heart of Seattle — walkable to Judkins Park, a short rideshare to Capitol Hill, and one stop by train to the International District. The neighborhood has a strong local food scene and is surrounded by some of Seattle's most beloved green spaces. Judkins Park and Jimi Hendrix Park are a 5-minute walk. Capitol Hill's restaurant and bar corridor is a short rideshare or two stops by train. The Northwest African American Museum is 10 minutes on foot.

Popular spots nearby: Kedai Makan, Optimism Brewery, Starbucks Reserve Roastery, Pie Bar, Rhein Haus, and the Garage for late-night pool and bowling.

This was a solid location just about 15-20 min to everywhere we had to go whether it was pike market to UW graduation to the airport. The LL was super responsive and the place albeit a pretty old property was clean and updated. There was some sheets missing at the property that the remedied quickly. There was some little things and hopefully the LL will rectify, but overall my family enjoyed it, I am just Type A personality so take it with a grain of salt so for me and the price we paid, I wouldn’t book it again.
