Great Stay
Needed a place to stay that was close to West Seattle and amenities. This VBRO met that requirement and more. The place was clean, full kitchen, large rooms and ample hot way and water pressure! Recommend for 2, maybe 3 individuals max.

Great location
We stayed here to spend time with our sons who live within walking distance to this home. It’s within walking distance to Alki beach too. You’re on the bottom level of the home, so you do hear noise from tenants up above, but by 8:00 pm, it was quiet. We definitely would stay here again.

Cozy and comfortable apartment in West Seattle with beautiful views. Apartment has all you need for cooking. Cozy fireplace kept us warm. Water Taxi made it easy to get to downtown Seattle. Highly recommend.

Seattle stopover
The property was perfect for our 5 day stopover in Seattle before joining a cruise. The location and views were great and the property was well equipped to meet our needs. If we ever travel this way again we would definitely come back.

Nice place for a short stay
The apartment is lovely. The bed is very comfortable, it’s decorated very nicely. It was very, very cold in the apartment. I messaged the owner regarding how to turn the heat on, and didn’t hear back from them for 9 hours. By then I had figured out that the pilot light on the heater wasn’t even on. I finally got it lit, then tried following their directions to control the heat, and came back to a burning up apartment. It was so hot in the apartment, that I couldn’t sleep all night. I finally just had to turn it off. There was no regulation of the temperature as the thermostat on the wall didn’t work.

Spacious, lovely, and well equipped. The location was awesome. A walk down to Alki Beach and lots of choices for dining. Easy water taxi takes you into Seattle. Great location!

1 bedroom near Alki
I loved this place. Very spacious for the equivalent money. Listing description was completely on point. A very nice place to stay just minutes walk from Alki Beach. A very quiet street at night. Close to the shopping areas of West Seattle and a quick drive to the West Seattle Bridge to take you over to the city. Apartment was nicely furnished with all you need in the living spaces and in the kitchen. I would love to live here! Oh, parking is usually a problem in most of Seattle. Free parking just out front. Really nice! Thank you!

10 minutes downhill to the beach?
Overall very good. Bed was comfortable, but, shower floor was slippery. My son left his pillow there and am hoping we can get it back.

Awesome stay!
We had a great stay! Nice location a few blocks from Alki and a quick drive to my FAVE restaurant Circa and over to Seattle or the water taxi. No instructions on how to get into the apartment ever appeared on my vrbo app and my in app email messages never got a response but when I texted an hour before arrival and asked about how to access the building I got an immediate response. You can hear some walking noise above but it never bothered us and it was mostly during the day, never super early. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the location and size of the apartment. I liked my pillow so much I bought one on Amazon for my house haha.

Cozy and quiet in Alki
Great space and plenty of amenities. Enjoyed a sunny afternoon and a beautiful sunset on the front porch. Great location, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach and all the cafes and restaurants on it. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

I was told i would be notified when the place was ready, because we had asked to check in early and she said the cleaners were still there. Neither T.V. worked. we notified the owner and there was no resolution.

Cold and damp when we arrived. We had to figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace heater. No instructions provide. Tv did not work as described. Very, very frustrating. 2 nice tvs but neither worked. Part of a roll of toilet paper was provided. No back up. Didn’t know we had to buy or bring our own.

A lot to like
The Good: > Excellent location - 15-20 minutes into downtown; 20 min to the airport; 10 min walk to the beach & restaurants; great views. > The space itself - Good bedroom/comfy bed; nice living area; kitchen & bath were fine; outdoor patio & laundry rooms were pluses. > The Host - We asked if we could do early check-in and they accommodated us. The Fixable: I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that this is a relatively new rental property, and they are still working out the kinks. Some easy things that could be done to improve the experience..... > More of the basics needed - Kitchen towels so we aren't wasting paper towels every time; more than 1 bath towel per person for a week stay; Baking pan/cookie sheet; more than 1 hot mitt; some way to hook up the TV in the bedroom. Having use of a portable cooler was a nice addition. > Better information - Provide some info on how to control the temperature in the unit (adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to have any impact); how to operate the fireplace; what goes into recycling (how do we know what to recycle in the Seattle area?); check-out instructions if there are any. The Challenge: This space is in a multi-unit building, and sound proofing is not the best. The unit upstairs has a small child and conversations could be clearly heard, especially in the morning right above the bedroom. Overall, we had a nice stay, and the unit property was good. A few easy changes would make it better. Thanks.

Cute little spot!
Perfect for two adults for a few nights. Everything was clean and stocked when we arrived. Local restaurants are near by and very easy to get to. I wouldn’t recommend walking because of the hilly terrain. We do recommend taking the water taxi into downtown Seattle! Only a 15 minute ride for about $6 each way. So many things to do in the city and easy to get around. Ubers are all over and so are the lime bikes and bird scooters. Cons: Keurig maker didn’t really work and only put out about 1 tbsp of coffee. And the owners live above the apartment, so you will hear them walking around. We will definitely return again!

Alki Beach perfection.

Great place!
Very clean and nice inside the apartment and out on the patio. I recommend it for quiet adults who need a comfortable place to stay. For traveler planning purposes: Mobility… there are a lot of stairs to get up to the door. Dining… breakfast bar for two, bistro table for two, patio table for two that we made work for a four-person dinner, but it was cozy. (The apartment sleeps 2, so this makes sense, of course, but if you have any more than two for a meal, be aware that you will be dishing up in the kitchen, not serving at a table.) Cooking… we prepared a full meal and the tools we needed were there other than a baking sheet so we made our own with some heavy foil. There’s also a blender and waffle maker. Very convenient. This is a downstairs apartment and you will occasionally hear the family upstairs, especially early in the morning. Host-requested quiet hours begin at 7:00 PM, which is unrealistic for most adults. Quiet hours end at 9:00 AM which is interesting since the loud noises upstairs begin way before that. I was hoping to sleep in during a long-awaited weekend off, but I didn’t have the opportunity. That’s really the only negative feedback I have. If you’re planning on rising early to head out for work or play, then this would likely not be a concern. Bedroom is right under another room so don’t plan on any privacy for adult activities. ;-) Smart TV with streaming services, some DVDs, and some board games are available. We were in town to see friends we haven’t seen in 24 years and to attend a concert. Very comfortable place to stay. Quick downhill access to the beach. Host communicated access information several hours before check-in time. No problems at all.

What a little gem
What a fun location! I love exploring new areas and this place is a treat. It was just right for what I needed. Good proximity to dining and outdoor activities. Downside, the mattress in the bedroom is due to be upgraded. And, the remote to the smart tv had been misplaced since the last guest had stayed. Good communication with the host, I would stay here again.

First Time in Seattle
This was our first trip to Seattle and we loved the location! It is within walking distance to beaches and restaurants and a short (free) shuttle ride to the water taxi. Alki is beautiful and the space is very clean. We felt right at home. The only complaint I have is that we couldn't stay longer :).

Very good location, could walk to Aliki beach area easily, You walk up maybe 20 steps to get to property, the property itself was comfortable and had everything you would need for a stay. The only thing I’d recommend is ear plugs due to the family above you if your a light sleeper like me.

Lack of Apartment access and no communication from host lead us to not have place to stay
I can not give a review of the property at all other than location because we were NEVER given access information and received NO communication from host regarding this. I started asking for access information 4 hours prior to check in time. And 4 hours and the next day after check in time. Radio silence!!! So we never saw the inside of property even though we booked for 3 days. Luckily we are local and we’re using place to stay while our house was being worked on. And knew the area and found a hotel to stay at. If I was coming from out of town that would have been more traumatic. vROB opened a cases and offered to help us find a place to stay I do know the area and the location is 4 blocks from Alki beach area and places to eat. So That is only positive thing I can say about this place!!!Also it is listed as a great place for traveling nurses to stay. Being a nurse at a hospital in Seattle I would totally disagree. With the West Seattle bridge closed until at least mid 2022 there are so many other areas in town to stay that are a much easier commute. I wish I had read prior review about lack of communication from host before booking this one. This is the first time I have ever had issues not being able to get in or no response from hosts . Renter beware!

ZERO communication, loud neighbors at 4am
I was not supplied with a house guide, had to reach out and ask to even gain access to the house. Owner took a long time to reply. Once inside I could not find any information for the wifi, local area, the location of anything in the house, contact information for help. I messaged the owner countless times asking for assistance accessing the wifi, took hours to respond. Was not able to use the wifi my entire first day, a HUGE inconvenience considering I work from home. The owner also did not provide any info on the checkout process. I waited 24 hours and still heard nothing so I just assumed checkout was 11 and left. The upstairs neighbors were stomping and running around at 4am every day, with no regard for my stay. It should note in the listing that this is a downstairs unit not just a guest suite. Also the kitchen was not equipped with a sponge or ice. I didn't cook much so it wasn't a huge deal, just a nuisance.

Nice place, great location
The property was comfortable and clean. It had all of the toiletries and supplies we needed, including sunscreen and plenty of towels. It has beautiful views, and it's located in a very nice neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to the water. Marination Ma Kai was a great spot to eat/drink on the harbor. The water taxi is convenient for traveling downtown.

Quaint,close to beach,restaraunts,bars,diners.
Only missing was regular t.v. in living room. A larger toilet and a few plush throw blankets for couches. Unfortunately the dryer didn't work, but I'm sure a new breaker or elbow grease will solve that problem. Warm water, and very private. We had a great time walking beach everyday!
