EdgewoodCove is a newly refreshed open concept 3 bedroom house (each with luxurious premium queen mattresses) with 2 additional bonus pull out (queen size) sleeping areas in family and living room & two small single sleeping alcoves. One additional full size sleeper is available in a bedroom for families with small children (all linens, pillows & towels included). Sleeps 10 at full capacity. The 3 spacious bathrooms are fresh, clean & modern with gorgeous lighting and plumbing fixtures in a spa-like setting. We provide plenty of luxury towels, soap & shampoo/conditioner. We clean with environmentally conscious cleaners, and our goal is to meet or exceed the cleanliness of a 4-star hotel. You'll find eco-friendly updates such as dual flush toilets, dimmable LED bulbs throughout, and high-efficiency appliances including a state-of-the-art washer/dryer. There was ample seating and beds throughout the home and an effort was definitely made to provide most accommodations you could need. The decor is really nice and the bathrooms are quite spacious but don’t have doors between the bedroom and bathroom. The main bedroom door doesn’t latch so privacy is an issue. Communication with the property manager was easy and they had very quick responses. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils, pots, pans and dishes you’ll ever need. However, this is where things started lacking for us. The pots and pans were so badly damaged with the teflon lining flaking off into our food so we had to buy a pan to cook with while there. Other cookware was dirty when we pulled it out of the cupboards and had to clean it before we could use it. The countertops in the kitchen were in bad shape as pieces were broken off and would come loose throughout our stay. The stovetop is sinking into the counter on one side so everything slides in the pans toward the sunken spot. So while the kitchen is very stocked, the lack of cleanliness and unusable items made it a little less enjoyable to cook our meals there. At this price point, I was expecting it to be a little more updated/maintained especially in the kitchen. The only other possible downside is this property is not accessible for anyone who cannot do stairs as you have about 13 to climb to get into the kitchen and main living room. ##### Stephanie M. This home suited us perfectly. We traveled with our daughter and her boyfriend to meet our son (traveling via Van Life with his dog) for his 25th birthday. We loved the set up of this home, it is very well appointed with plenty of dishes, pots & pans, towels, etc. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Loved walking across the street to the beach to beach comb and let our dog play. Walked downtown to eat and shop. A quick drive to Cannon Beach to check out Haystack Rock and shop. Easy drive and short hike to get to Short Sands Beach to surf. Everyone in the community were very friendly and helpful in suggestions of things to do or places to go. The house was dusty, dirty, and grimy just not ready for guest. The kitchen was gross the dishes were horribly dirty food stuck on them from I don’t know when. The fridge is broken so our food did not stay cold, and having to try to keep the milk cold enuf for the baby in the Family was difficult to say the least.. The towels in all the bathrooms were all band new and never washed so blue flint everywhere, and I do believe that is not sanitary. All common areas were not wiped down because I went through with wipes and did it myself and those wipes were not clean when I was done... And unfortunately there were bugs everywhere ants and what looked like to be potato bugs, weird.... I really hate writing bad reviews and most of the time I wont, but for the price I feel like we just have been robed. And for speaking with management that seems not work since I never received any corespondents to my messages besides the Check in info.... So sad to have had to deal with this when I was trying to have a very needed vacation with our hard working Family.... Hope someone wants to make this right!!! ##### Marianne R. We loved the proximity to the Seaside Promenade and Canon Beach, but the easy access to the beach across the street was the best! Grilling on the two rear balconies overlooking the Seaside Golf Course was relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking and entertaining dishes & utensils a family needs. Great location and incredible home. The owners let us check in early which was a godsend. When we got there the house was very cold. It was a raining cold day and night. Come to find out none of the in wall heaters worked. There was portable heaters through the house that we had to use but not disclosed to us when reserving the place. There was a fireplace but could only use one deraflame log at a time so not a lot of heat. One of the major issues if you use a space hearted in more then one room the breakers kept flipping. The space heater for our room was broken. I texted at 3:40pm about the heating issue and finally had a new portable heater show up after 8:30pm. That was after the 2 smaller children were in bed. There was one extra blanket in the house and I had to ask the gal that dropped off the heater for an extra blanket. I texted after that it was unexceptionable to have no heat in a house and run portable heaters all night especially when there is small children here. I don’t even know if that’s safe. The next day after we left @ 12:33 this was the response I received: “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. The heating system failed a little over a month ago and we are on a 3 month waiting list to get it replaced (sadly parts are not easily available). The backup heaters have been working ok since it went down but it sounds like it was a struggle last night for your group and I’m really sorry about that.” So he knew this before I reserved the house and didn’t bother to let us know or even give us a chance to find another place. ##### Nancy B. The kitchen was well-equipped. I think the cleaning company needs to up their game a bit. While it wasn’t terrible, there was a trash can not emptied (my dog brought me a dirty diaper from it), the tub had residue that was not cleaned (looked okay visually but was scummy to the touch so I cleaned it prior to use) and the sheets were a little sandy (not sure how that happens if they’ve been laundered). Overall I would stay again but would hope the cleaners will take this as constructive feedback and improve. ##### Christina T. The house is beautifully setup , very modern and stocked with everything that you may need . It’s 2 mins from beach and super close to everything in seaside The owners were very prompt in responding to any questions that we may have . It was a lovely stay .
