Friendly, warm and accommodating
We had a lovely stay at Saltmarsh farmhouse over the last May Bank Holiday. Nina and her staff were friendly, warm and accommodating. Our room, Under The Eves, was lovely, although a little warm and noisy at times (we think there was an extractor fan in the next room). The breakfast was delicious and ample with plenty of choice. Dinner can also be provided upon request. The bar area, which worked on an honesty basis, was very comfortable with a range of wines and spirits available along with games and books for entertainment. Saltmarsh Farmhouse is in the heart of the Seven Sister's Country Park and the perfect place to start exploring the walks along the cliffs and the South Down's Way. We hope to make a return visit :0)

There was a shared kettle in the hall balanced on a chair to make teas. Limited choice of teas and no isciuts. The room was fine. But the breakfast was disappointing. No fruit juice, no cereals, no croissants and no egg cups. Over priced

Great location next to visitors centre. Nice garden area and self service honesty bar. Noise travels a bit in the room but very bearable. Fantastic breakfast and lovely staff who go out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

Great base for Cuckfield Valley and Seven Sisters
Perfect location, lovely house, cosy lounge, delicious breakfast. Girls are very friendly and sweet. Unfortunately the room is too small with little furniture. No where to put anything except couple of chairs. Was woken up at mid night by kettle boiliing in the corridor right outside our door.

Overwhelming friendlyness of Nina and her staff, delicious food, and nice little gardens to relax. Situated at the visitor's center of the Seven Sisters Natural Park and its entrance. We stood there for 8 nights and were simply happy.
