Covered Boat Port w/Power. As you drive up to Hilltop Hideaway you'll pass the Waterfront boat ramp and find yourself mid-lake halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro. You'll enter the property through a driveway right next to the cabin and park up to 2 vehicles or boats under the lighted carport that has power to charge your batteries after a long day of fishing. The covered patio is a great place to take in beautiful lake and mountain views. If you walk up to the covered patio after dark, the area will be lit by an overhead motion light. You'll enter the cabin through a full kitchen that includes everything necessary to make memorable meals. Your Kitchen includes a full sized refrigerator and stove as well as a microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster. Cookware, dishes and flatware are also included. You'll then make your way into the great room which has comfortable seating for 4 as well as a wall mounted big screen television powered by DirecTV. To the right is your master bedroom which includes a queen bed and twin bed as well as the first or 2 full bathrooms. To the left is the second bedroom which has 2 twin beds and it's own full bath. You'll find the cleanest bedding and freshest towels anywhere! Enjoy strong unlimited free WIFI reception both inside and outside of the cabin. If you travel with pets just ask, in most cases we're happy to have them as guests too. Our 2 acre property offers plenty of additional parking and easy access through 3 different driveways. My son and I stayed here during our fishing trip to Guntersville. Dave and Edna has gone above and beyond to make sure this place is very accommodating, including covered boat parking and electric hook ups. The inside of the cabin was perfect. Everything you could ask for and more. The boat ramp is only a few hundred feet down the road and across from what is pretty much a general store that has anything you may have forgotten. I give this one the highest marks and would recommend to anyone. Great kitchen and a coffee pot w/ filters to boot. 2 separate rooms apart, each with excellent showers & bathroom. Comfy couch and TV for the living room. The boat shed was perfect and secure. Dave was very courteous and helpful even with our late evening arrival. Great location puts you seconds from waterfront ( ramp, gas, breakfast,lunch, and fishing supplies ) and minutes away for access to other areas of the lake. This was more economical and much more pleasant than any hotel stay. I am well traveled and one would be hard pressed to find a better value for a fishing trip. Carport to put boat in with power! The house was wonderful with everything we needed and was very clean. Perfect location to several boat ramps. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip! Wonderful place to stay! great accommodations--plenty of parking and space to park 2 boats under the carport with electrical hook-up, with a beautiful view of Lake Guntersville. David & Edna were great to deal with, always prompt to respond to e-mails and messages before our trip and came by daily to check with us to see if we needed anything! Was close to boat ramp, tackle and convenience stores. Recommend Top of the River restaurant--good food and service. We will definitely stay with them when we venture back to Alabama! ##### Leisa S. Pull your boat right under the carport (which is huge) which is right next to the front door. It poured when we came off the water. We pulled up and unloaded and stayed dry. Going inside, these guys really catered to the fishermen. Tons of room, nice TV, full kitchen, grill, two huge bathrooms. We will be back for sure! ##### Michael D. ---
