"Breakfast was very good. Room was okey for our one night stay. Check in was at 3 PM and ay first they said they weren’t allowed to take pur luggages and told us we could rent the storage boxes in the lobby, but our suitcases were bigger, so in the end, the receptionist took them to their back office. Same thing happened during check out. They reluctantly took them when I told them their colleauge took them the day before. It’s sad that a good hotel not taking responsibility and trying to make money even on luggages. The location was at the main train station which was another good thing about the hotel."

"We arrived at 11.0pm and the front door was closed and no staff available. The email that showed us how to get into the hotel and locate our room did not arrive until the following morning. We stayed 4 nights and the room was not refreshed at all during our stay. Whilst I understand that hoteliers need to control costs and I fully understand it is not necessary to clean or service a room every day, making sure that the rooms have enough dry towels, tea or coffee and bins are emptied must be the very least required "

"I paid Expedia in advance and had a receipt. On arrival I was told the booking was not paid in advance despite me showing them my receipt they insisted that I must pay them …. Again. They spent ages consulting paper file and then charged me to a credit card on file. Upon checking I do not recognise the card number. This took over 20 minutes at check in. Very poor given I had proof of payment. I have no idea if I’ve been charged twice. "

"A family run, modern hotel with outstanding service, all the staff without exception try their hardest to make you feel welcome and your stay as comfortable as possible. Nice, clean rooms, good facilities like a sauna and a very good restaurant offering local cuisine and drinks at reasonable prices. Very good breakfast buffet with a great variety of food and drink. Would definitely choose this hotel again when in the area."

"Tired hotel with no curtain in my room and far too hot although the radiator was switched off. The shower head would not hold up and the bed was very soft - ok for some people I know, but not me. There was no breakfast other than coffee and worst of all there is only a small time with any staff. That’s no help if you’re facing a keypad to get in. The telephone number to a sister hotel cuts off if you select the English option and if you take the German option they are not exactly helpful - I am still waiting for a call back that was promised in five minutes!
