Four days of a mini vacation. The place is secluded yes but 15 mins away is some amazing food (Vito’s) and grocery for anything to make there. The property was breathtaking. It was very apparent that the owners had paid careful attention when creating the space to create a very welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly gracious and helpful, and we felt at home as soon as we walked inside the property. Because of the location, it was very easy to stargaze and enjoy the beautiful property at night. Bilbo, the farm cat, was also extremely welcoming and friendly, and we were sad to leave him at the end of our stay. We so enjoyed the unique interior and the expansive landscape. The property pets were a big hit, so friendly and welcoming. The owners left an amazing s’mores kit for us to enjoy and we certainly did! The fire pit area outside was cozy and set up wonderfully. Like advertised, this place is in a small community with not a lot immediately around and that’s exactly what we wanted. Though within an hours drive there are many attractions. She was very receptive and accommodating to concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and tubs are quite unique. Our only hiccup was an issue with a millipede infestation. We ended up leaving earlier than expected due to this unforeseen issue. We would definitely consider staying at the larger house on the property. Bilbo the feline welcoming committee was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee and Bilbo cuddles on the porch swing. Even the goats made an appearance and loved hearing the frogs at night. The mattress is incredibly comfortable. Sofa and carpet could use a good steam clean, and obviously the millipede issue needs to be resolved but if you’re looking for a get away to reconnect with nature, this is a nice option. ##### Julene S. This place is definitely secluded which is what we wanted.. Although there is a main house next door which was not mentioned in the description. Other guests came later in the week but we didn’t see or hear them. This may have changed how we felt if we did. This place is beautifully decorated and very clean. We really loved sitting on the back porch swing every morning with a cup of coffee. Kim and Greg are very nice and accommodating. We were offered to grab fresh tomatoes from their garden (wish we took them up on it). We brought our dog with us which was nice. However it is required pets be leashed outdoors the entire time which we weren’t aware of prior to booking. She enjoyed interacting with the goats and going on walks on the property. Plenty of wineries and breweries within a forty minute drive. By fault of technology, our stay happen to be double booked and we were notified the day of by the host. The host quickly help us resolve the issue so we were still able to stay at the homestead.
