No AC, which is unfortunate, but leaving my balcony door open at night and closing the drapes during the day helped keep the temperature down. "Modern converted mill, next to the train station. Everything clean and tidy, apart from the supplied and much needed fan (No AC). It was full of hair and dust, not ideal really. Had to sleep with windows open, during 35'c heat. Check in was a bit of a faff with digital registration and needing passport images all before you got access to the code to let you in. (My code didn't arrive, so i had to call a helpful woman who sorted it for me) In total took over 20min to "check in" at a time when you just wanted to drop your bags and rest."

My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "
