Loft-like apartment in Scheibbs with swimming pond

This modern loft-style holiday home for 4 people is located in an Austrian farmhouse in the countryside in Scheibbs in Lower Austria in a quiet location. It offers a fully equipped kitchenette, a large bedroom, a living area with a pull-out sofa bed, a beautiful bathroom and a large garden with a swimming pond, sunbathing areas and a terrace for grilling. Free WiFi is available in the entire apartment. The farmer raises rare breed sheep and has converted parts of his farmhouse into unique apartments for guests looking for shore excursions.

The endless surroundings with hilly meadows and forests invite you to go cycling, horseback riding, golfing, swimming in the natural lake, e-bikes for hire and hiking all year round (e-bikes are available). In winter, some small family ski areas such as Hochkar, Lackenhof and Mariazell are only a short drive away. You can also visit their regional shop.

Scheibbs is wonderful for exploring the mountainous part of Austria with easy access to Oetscher, Mariazell or Waidhofen/Ybbs. The apartment is fully air conditioned and there is a huge swimming pool on the doorstep. There is a bicycle storage room if you want to explore the area by bike. Linz International Airport is 99 km away. Breakfast, but also full board in the hotel's own regional shop is possible from Monday to Saturday.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich . Die Lage des Objekt ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Uns wurde von der netten Gastgeberin auch ein selbstgemachter Apfelkuchen angeboten. Es gibt einen freundlichen Familienhund und einen Schwimmteich, der benutzt werden darf. Leider lag das Zimmer im Innenhof in dem eine lautstärkentechnisch wahrnehmbare Elektro Anlage installiert ist. Im Zimmer stand ein defekter Stuhl, von dem die Gastgeberin wusste, aber zu faul war diesen mit einem Neuen, den sie bereits gekauft hatte, zu tauschen. Das hätte also sehenden Auges sehr Gefährlich enden können. Das Zimmer kann als Empfehlung für 4 Personen leider nicht weiterempfohlen werden, da ist doch zu wenig Platz in der Herberge. Leider sind beim Auschecken enorme Zusatzkosten auf uns zu gekommen, von denen wir vorher nicht informiert wurden, so dass unser Aufenthalt plötzlich das doppelte gekostet hat.
