A short drive brings you to Scarborough, one of Yorkshire’s best loved seaside towns. Head inland to Dalby Forest for woodland walks, cycling trails and outdoor adventures, or travel along the coast to RSPB Bempton Cliffs, renowned for its soaring chalk cliffs and spectacular seabird colonies. Whitby is only 18 miles away, offering a characterful harbour, winding old streets and the atmospheric ruins of Whitby Abbey.
Beyond the surrounding coastline is dotted with scenic viewpoints, villages and quiet places to explore.
