Getting Around: Scarborough is within a 1 hours’ drive time of Whitby, Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey. Scarborough Train Station is a short 10 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby. The place was modern and clean. It did miss some of the personal touches that can make a place feel welcoming on arrival however (including no batteries in the tv remote and no handsoap in the bathroom) but overall it was a really nice place to stay. There is also a hidden drawer in the kitchen with all the cutlery in which we were unaware of, which created an element of panic on the first night having made dinner! The lovely locals were able to advise us of the infamous hidden drawer though thankfully. ##### Cleo G.
