With comfortable and stylish interiors, Laguz @ The Merchants Quarters is a great choice when holidaying in Scarborough.  
  
The Space:  
Laguz @ The Merchants Quarters has a bright and spacious open plan living and dining area. Featuring a comfy leather sofa and a large flat screen TV, it’s the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day at the beach. Enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which sits in the bay window.  
  
Stylish and modern, the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays so you can prepare meals easily.   
  
The apartment has two tranquil bedrooms. Head to the master bedroom and you’ll find a comfy double bed with crisp white bed linens. The second bedroom is a twin and features decorative mirrors, bedside tables and a clothes rail.  
  
Ultra modern, the family bathroom has a large walk in shower, WC and basin. Light floods in from the skylight windows above.  
  
When staying at The Merchants Quarters, you’ll have access to a lovely roof terrace with outdoor seating. The perfect place to relax, you can retreat here and enjoy the stunning views.

The Neighborhood:  
There are a number of beaches for you to choose from in Scarborough. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe!  
  
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more, or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, here you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. The Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park is perfect for all ages.   
  
We highly recommend booking a seat at the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre to experience some first-class drama, music, films and comedy or make a splash at the Alpamare water park with outdoor pools, a wave machine and exhilarating state-of-the-art water rides.  
  
Getting Around:  
Scarborough is within a 1 hours’ drive time of Whitby, Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.  
  
Scarborough Train Station is a short 10 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.   
  
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.

#### A beautiful apartment!

On arrival we were met with a clean, modern building which was more than matched by the communal and private areas. The apartment was clean, comfortable and modern with lovely views to the harbour. The roof top garden was an added luxury. The small details here are what really count - the amazing shower and the Christmas tea bags to name a couple. The quality and finish is not what you would associate with a rental property. We had a lovely time and we will be back!!

#### 3 night break in centre of SCARBOROUGH North Yorkshire

The property was modern and comfy for 2 people would have struggled with 3 or 4\. Only 3 dining chairs and very small dining table. The apartment was on the 3rd floor with 42 steps to reach it. Feel the details should have said not suitable for elderly/infirm.
