The sanctuary has direct access to the beautiful ocean beach & is a 2 minute drive to cafes etc. The pillows & mattress were soft, there were cushions & rugs, a coffee pod machine, small fridge, a little table & chairs to eat off or play board games in our case. However, the friendly and helpful holiday park management team gave us a spare one to use during our stay. I would recommend other customers to bring your own hair dryer if you really need to use it. The directions for getting there are clear and easy to follow and the grounds are meticulously maintained and well organized. My tent site was surrounded by pretty flowering vegetation and was private. The tent was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything one could need including a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle etc. The bed was very comfortable. The tents are set up on a spacious deck with nice wood deck chairs and a great wood burning stove. A short, lovely walk takes you to the beautiful Scamander beach and at night I fell asleep to the sound of the surf. This staff and owner were quick to respond to any questions and went out of their way to be helpful when I had car trouble. The location was perfect for exploring the region including the spectacular Bay of Fires and after long days of hiking, biking and swimming it was easy and felt great returning to the site. If you are glamping or camping I can't recommend this place highly enough. Just very cold at night - but there were heating blankets in bed as well as a heater (which was way too noisy to put on over night unfortunately). The zipper part is significant, as the tent platforms are so close to each other to step from one to the next - you can hear your neighbor's TV, conversations and more importantly, at midnight and 1:00 am when the people in the next tent have to head out to the bathrooms.
