Cute pinewood cottage with a hot tub and great outdoor space. Short walk to Chikaming Park.
Walk to the Harbert Swedish Bakery, Gather Restaurant and Cafe Gulistan on Red Arrow Highway.
You are welcome to use our road bikes to explore the area bike paths or ride to the beach ( Just 5 minutes away!) It is a quick 1 hour 20 minutes from Chicago but a world away. Great place to gather with family and/or friends , pet friendly! Warren State Dunes Park just a 6 minute drive. So much to see and do in the area. It is a great place to escape and unwind. Come for a long weekend or a week!

Little slice of heaven near the lake

Love the place, so relaxing. Every activity you could think of doing available at the house and a short drive from the beach. The bakery a couple of blocks away is a must!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. They had games and things for the kids and it was located on a quiet street. It’s a great location close to restaurants, Warren dunes, and Harbert beach. Loved the screened in porch and hot tub too!

Delightful cozy cottage and hot tub!

We had a very delightful stay and communications with Lynn were excellent. The chilly weather made the hot tub a wonderfully relaxing experience. The cottage is so cozy with a super comfy couch for watching movies. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds all very comfortable. We loved our extended weekend here and it was very hard to convince ourselves to leave!

Beautiful well Kept cottage in Harbert Michigan. Close to beaches, restaurants, and breweries. The owner supplies beach chairs, bikes, hot tub, full kitchen with spices and coffee. Awesome weekend with friends!!

The location of the home is perfect - walking distance to restaurants & the beach (about 15 minutes). House is stocked with everything you may need & the yard is AWESOME!!! The host Lynn was responsive. Highly recommend this house for family or friend trips alike.

We had an amazing time.The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There were plenty of towels and bedding. The location was perfect. Close to Warren dunes and Cherry beach. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The backyard was huge with several sitting areas and large dining table. The hot tub looked great but unfortunately the weather was way too hot , above 90 , to enjoy.

perfect spot for our family gathering

We converged at the cottage from many far flung locations, 4 adult family members who rarely get to connect in person, along with day visitors with 2 young ones from South Bend. The place was perfect for long conversations, moving from living room to porch to outside. It felt like we were home! Fantastic middle eastern food just across the street, easy access to beach sunsets, plenty of room to rest, and ease of taking the bikes for a relaxing spin made this a spot we will long remember.

Quick get away

The house was stocked with everything we needed which was great. Disappointed that one of the bikes had a flat tire that we couldn’t use, and the bunk bedroom was too hot for my son to sleep in, so he had to sleep with my other son in the additional room- but it all worked out and we enjoyed the house overall and location.

The quintessential beach house

Lynn's house, was perfect. I loved the nostalgic styling, and cute nooks, wonderfully stocked kitchen and cookware, just what the nervous system needs to decompress. Lynn provides many things that make a big difference on a trip away, like a grill, beach chairs, hot tub, etc..and the bikes were icing on the cake for me. I usually rent bikes when I have stayed in Michigan, so this amenity was so appreciated. I spent a couple of hours just biking around the roads adjacent to the house, and the bike path on Red Arrow High way leads to other neat beaches, coffee shops, etc. Harbert Beach just down Harbert Road, is equally as wonderful, one of my favorite beaches. Lynn's home is a wonderful place to stay if you are considering! I hope to return again this season.

Cozy cottage

We stayed at this VRBO in June 2024 and were very pleased with the experience. The house was exactly as described: the kitchen had all the conveniences, the fenced yard was great, the hot tub was amazing, and the bedrooms had comfortable beds. The cottage is not on the lake, but getting there is easy by car. We had a good time exploring the dunes, the Warren Woods, New Buffalo, Sawyer, and Harbert. It was nice to have games and puzzles for the rainy day. We felt a little over-dependent on our car, as it is pretty much a drive to get anywhere. We had hoped to use the bikes promised in the description, but couldn't get them, unfortunately. We opted for another session in the hot tub instead!
