Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and everything was very clean. The rooms are small, but perfectly fine for a short stay when you’re mostly out exploring. The bathroom is an all-in-one situation — toilet, shower, and sink share the same space — so after a shower, everything is wet. It didn’t bother us, but more pampered travelers might need a moment to adjust. On the plus side, the shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. There were several hot dishes (eggs, rice, curry, meats, soups), plus coffee, tea, cereal, toast, sweets, and fresh fruit. A really strong start to the day. The grounds are compact but pleasant, and the free bikes were a huge bonus for exploring the nearby historical park. Only real downside: the bed is extremely firm. Not a deal breaker, but it might as well have been a very enthusiastic box spring. For the price and amazing location, it was absolutely worth it. 8/10 — we’d stay again." Its 15 mins by car to the historical park (AKA the old town). About a 5 min walk to various restaurants but not much to see or do around the area (the new town). Can get your laundry done here too. The staff were very polite. I came in at one in the morning because the bus dropped me off, I had to walk 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the station, and when I got there, nobody was at the helpdesk. There were two little boys sleeping behind the helpdesk, but they didn’t stir to a flashlight in their faces. I had to check myself in, grab my own key, make my own bed, and clean up a little bit. There was no soap in the bathroom, it was difficult to get the AC running, and there wasn’t even a light in the bathroom. Overall, I feel like I got scammed out of my money.
