"We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

Tons of various monkeys skipping through the property and even a sloth right outside our window. We saw more wildlife on the resort than we did in Manuel Antonio Park! "

"I had a great stay at Ginger Room. The room was clean, with storage and some hangning space. Having access to a mini fridge was verry useful. There is a nice view of the ocean from the terrace, great sunset colours! I saw a variety of birds and animals. I echo the comments on the need for a 4X4 vehicle to reach the property. Lori was very attentive and responsive to any needs or questions, accommodating and just overall considerate. "

"Our room felt like a dungeon with no natural light from the windows (facing inner corridors). During the night same windows were fully bright from the lights shining in those corridors- madness!! There was evidence of water damage on the walls, cold water only in showers and random mostly empty bottles of „soap” and „hair mask” for cosmetics, not even any soap to wash hands! Room had coffee machine but no coffee to go in it. Dishes in the room were dirty. Only saving grace for this hotel is access to the beach and nice pool and proximity to the park"

"The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. The staff were awesome! Breakfast was very good. We ate dinner once and it was good as well. On days where we needed to leave early for an excursion they packed us breakfast to go. We rented the apartment which was perfect size for a family of five. It faces the road which is a little loud at night but wasn’t a big concern. I would recommend this hotel. "

"Lovely location with incredible reviews. Seeing the released red macaws on site was a treat. Tours booked via the hotel were excellent and we appreciated the recourse when one of our tours did not work out. Really loved the upper sunset deck. Restaurant was decent. Pool lovers may be disappointed with the pool."

"Highly recommend this property. Great location to restaurants both in Quepos and MA. Staff is very friendly. Great Happy Hours with Wilfredo. Nice pools with ability to escape the heat. If I ever come back to Manuel Antonio I would probably stay there again. "

"Alma Vida was an amazing place to stay during our visit to Manuel Antonio/Quepos. The property and grounds were gorgeous and they had three beautiful pools. Breakfast was included, which we got every morning and was really good. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops, which you can walk to. We also saw a lot of animals on the property, including iguanas, agoutis, and monkeys."

"Incredible. The customer service is something I’ve never experienced. The grounds are immaculate. Monkeys are many. We even saw a sloth pretty regularly. The view was incredible! Again, I can’t get over the customer service. Talk about prompt, kind, and gracious. I would definitely stay here again. I wouldn’t even bother with another hotel. I could not have asked for more. \*\*\* be prepared to walk some inclines and stairs. No matter where your room is, that is definitely going to be part of the journey. "
