The Hotel is simple, but in a beautiful place, quiet and the staff was very friend. The Chef was a very nice person that helped always when requested. The breakfast in front of the sea was fantastic. You wont find luxury, but the place compensate.
The staff was extremely friendly and the morning breakfast was a treat. It’s located on a beautiful private beach in a perfect location for watching the sunset in peace. The only downside was we were there for 6 days and no one came to clean our room. We asked but still no one showed up. Other than that it was perfect! We will absolutely be staying there again.
The property is perfect for a quiet break! Loved sitting overlooking sea glass island for breakfast every day. The included breakfast was very nice. Swim area is small but sandy bottom went out far enough to be shoulders deep in water. Plenty of chairs, beds and outdoor seating to spend a lazy day among palms. A few excellent restaurants were close to walk to. Adding to our must go again list.
My wife and I enjoyed our most relaxing vacation in years during our three night stay at Serene by the Sea. We particularly enjoyed being able to swim and snorkel from the small beach right off the dock. Chef Emile prepared us a fabulous surf and turf meal one evening, which was most enjoyable. The ease of access to the airport, the availability of parking, and the proximity to Mangel Halto and Baby Beaches all made my so glad I steered clear of the Eagle Beach hotel zone. We can't wait to return!

Their are so many comfortable chairs around the property the property is quiet during the day most people are gone during the day if u want peace and quiet this is the place for u nothing fancy if u want thst stay in palm beach area but i will be back again
The hotel is small, family run and friendly. You are away from the hustle and bustle of the major resort area. The breakfast is fresh with the cook (very nice) preparing any style eggs/omelet, breads, pastries, cheese, ham and fruit also available. Coffee, tea and orange juice provided. The Flying Fishbone Restaurant (famous for dining with your feet in the water) is next door. The snorkeling was good and we saw a turtle. Took the Kayak out. Be aware of the current further out in the water. Enjoyed our stay
What a hidden gem! All the comforts of home/hotel without the enormous price. We will definately visit again. Breakfast on the water, prepared by a personal chef... white sand beach with crystal blue swimming area. Rooms are nice and remodeled. Floating massage 'deck', kayaks, snorkling gear, and more. We paid the chef to take us for a tour of the island, which he did so graciously. Didn't miss a thing, had personal treatment (and a/c) all at a reasonable price. I believe there are power boats available - they will take you for a ride.
This is a quaint, delightful place that is not in the typical tourist district. Our room overlooked the Caribbean and we walked less than 100 ft to the water's edge. As a small place you are not fighting the crowds and with the included beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel equipment, and kayaks this was a perfect place to relax. Also breakfast was included every morning. It is close to 3 fabulous restaurants and within a short driving distance to Baby Beach, a must visit beach!
This is a family run place and what a great family they are. Very friendly, helpful, (especially when we had a dead battery as we were departing for the airport) and accommodating. For us it was the perfect place to stay.
We were looking for something much quieter than the resorts that still had an ocean view, and we found it. The location was great. It was right on the beach with a beautiful view. The hotel had a very intimate feel and was very peaceful. Kayaks are provided so you can take a short trip to glass beach island. There is also snorkel equipment in your room. There is breakfast downstairs in an outdoor patio which was a great way to start your day with a gorgeous view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and big. I highly recommend this hotel!
We loved our stay at Serene By The Sea. The property is away from the tourist section and authentic Aruba. The facility was clean. Snorkeling is available on site with basic equipment. Breakfast is prepared fresh each morning right on the water. The beach was lovely with chairs and hammocks. Highly recommend for a nice quiet stay in Aruba. Tip: Flying Fishbone is walking distance. To get the feet in the water seats, book a few months out. We did get a beach seat which was lovely also.
We loved our romantic weekend here at Serene By the Sea. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with the bottle of prosecco they gave us and chose to spend most of our time just relaxing here. We snorkeled and took the available kayaks out. They even let us borrow fishing poles. I recommend the included breakfast every morning with coffee, juice, toast, fruit & homemade omelets. The wildlife of birds, fish, crabs & lizards on the deck are fun to watch. The room, bed & shower are quiet and comfortable. The view outside to the left and right is very beautiful. We even made reservations for a romantic dinner by the water with chef that included wine & dessert. Other restaurants were walkable like Flying Fishboone and we enjoyed the romantic Old Man & the Sea for dinner over the water in a bungalow. So even though we rented a car to drive round trip to the airport and explore Baby Beach, we just didn’t need to go very far from relaxing in the hammock at Serene By the Sea. Wonderful owners make it even more enjoyable. They even loaned us beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels and gave me fresh cut aloe for our sunburn. Wonderful service.
Loved every minute of it, the staff was great! The place clean and well kept. Very tranquil and very personal.

Very nice and friendly service. The breakfast was a delight. This location is ideal to relax. Love to come back to this island that has a Dutch heritage.
Comfortable room, right on the water, loved the access to to snorkel equipment and kayaks. Daily breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.
Serene by the sea was just what we were looking for, a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Chef was awesome, friendly and informative...and made great open face omeletes every morning. Sea life right at the dock...crabs and plenty of fish, and iguanas living under the deck would come out and say hello. Great stay, great chef, great resort.
