If you’re looking for old world charm in the middle of the Soo, this is for you! There is plenty of room for a large family, amenities are perfect for creating a lovely dinner party, and the decor is very comfortable and inviting. The host (Barbara) is very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It was perfect for our Lake Stare weekend reunion!
The house was clean and met our needs well. We had to text the host about a couple things and she responded immediately. She even provided a dozen fresh eggs and bagels for breakfast.
Cute house, clean and comfortable. Lots of room inside. Great communication with the host. Nice location, close to the ship museum and Soo Locks Tours. Some breakfast items were provided - much appreciated. Would stay here again.
The Soo was where we stayed and went to the falls and Lake Superior lake shore. Honestly couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere. Staying in a historic house was such a treat and Barbara was reachable immediately by text for or few questions.
Beautiful, well-maintained home! Very clean with lots of extra blankets and towels. Lots of room to park, and the fire-pit was nice for everyone to be able to hang out and relax after a long day. The owner was very friendly and helped to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone looking for a large place for friends and family to be able to bunk together for a few days or more!
We were traveling together for a family wedding. The home was cozy and comfortable and filled with little extra amenities – breakfast foods stocked in the kitchen. The owner checked in several times to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It felt like our home away from home. You have a beautiful home!
We had a wonderful time. The house was nice and very clean! The kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The shower in the master bath was amazing. The host was very helpful and was easy to communicate with. The location of the house was perfect, it was close to all the attractions we went to.

Great location
Myself, husband 2 kids- 17 & 12 along with my parents stayed here 7/24-29. Great location!! Close to everything Sault Ste Marie- shopping, amazing restaurants, boat tours, muesums, etc. The host was SOOOO easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful and kind! She left farm fresh eggs, bagels, etc for quick easy breakfasts.
Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Plenty of fans and a/c’s. Good parking for a few cars. I think the primary bathroom needs some sort of door or separation for privacy. There’s also room for more shelving/table for toiletries. The hous would benefit from updated furniture, fixed windows and coverings and a little bit of curb appeal. Other than that I would recommend anyone stay!
The home was very clean and set up nicely. Super close to everything we needed. Barbara had left some breakfast foods for us and all kitchen utensils we needed were there. I would definitely stay here again!
This air b & b was so comfortable, my whole family couldn’t believe.Hank

Great experience
House was clean and well stocked with everything and anything we needed to use during our stay. Close to town if you wanted to explore. Host was friendly and easy to get a hold of if needed. Perfect accommodations for my group.
Our stay at this house was wonderful. Very clean and space was plentiful. Kitchen contained pretty much anything you would need. The host even provided bagels and coffee for use. Highly recommended staying here!
I stayed at this house for a family get together, and it was perfect. The house is close to downtown, so I was able to walk there. Close to the Catholic church. The multiple rooms and bathrooms satisfied the 4 family groups that we brought together.
Enjoyed this place. 6 of us stayed for a bowling weekend. Enjoyed it, relaxing and playing cards. While an older house, it is well maintained and host had stocked with everyhing we needed. Was well worth the price.
The seven of us stayed there for a conference. We stayed here last year and it was perfect. They made some updates And they did an excellent job. This house is close to downtown which we walk to a few times and did some shopping after the conference.
