Mackinac Island ferries, Tahquamenon Falls, and many Upper Peninsula destinations are within an hour's drive.

    Additional Information
    This home is located on rural acreage with neighboring homes and additional short-term rentals nearby. Each property has its own driveway and ample private outdoor space. Guests are asked to respect quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and remain within the areas designated for this rental.

    Snowmobilers and guests traveling with trailers are welcome. Please inquire prior to booking regarding overflow parking needs.

    We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance if your plans may change or are weather dependent. The cancellation policy will be enforced.

The property was perfect for us and our adult children as we gathered to celebrate our son’s graduation from LSSU. We stayed as a family of 7 adults, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. There was plenty of space and it was the most well stocked VRBO I have stayed in. There were plenty of games and activities to keep everyone happy including the awesome sauna and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and the home was nice and clean.

My husband and I along with our 3 daughters and their families has a very night 3 nights stay at your home. The home is very clean and a nice layout for a big group like us. The little ones really enjoyed the play set in the back yard. We cooked meals and everything we needed was there. It’s in a great location but on a nice private area. The house was equipped with every last thing anyone would need. We would definitely recommend it!

Golf trip

A dozen of us fell upon the Sault for our annual golf trip. The house was perfect for us. Space is abundant, the yard is wonderful for outdoor games and socializing, the hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. It’s hockey season!

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this property—-it was cozy and roomy enough for 10 of us and was located centrally for lots of day trips. Enjoyable! So great for a large group! From the description we thought there was a bedroom on the main floor, but 2 bedrooms were in the basement, and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Our handicapped friend was able to sleep on the sofa, but there was only a powder room on the main floor. We loved the kitchan and great room!! The master bathroom was super! Bedrooms could use a chair.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Tammy responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was clean and well stocked with anything that we needed. We brought all of our own food. We used the hot tub, sauna, outdoor games and every one of the bedrooms. There was enough hot water and towels for all of us. We had absolutely no complaints. Everything was excellent. Hottub and Sauna were wonderful. Kitchen was very stocked, which was very appreciated!! Could use some love given to the basement bedrooms in the way of some dressers, updates/repair the ceiling, and some difficult auto lights situations...and it is very chilly down there. Worked out fine for us because of all the extra blankets available!! Lots of towels and laundry facilities on both floors!! The backyard was alot of fun with a great swingset, pond, and fire area!! Would definetly rent again! Owners were easy to reach, friendly, and responsive!! Thanks for a great time!!!

Fabulous for Families

Tammy & David’s home was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. The online photo’s accurately depict the home and amenities. It is conveniently located for quick access to shopping, the University and The Locks. While the home is child friendly(outdoor playground, sleep & play, ping pong, basketball etc) it isn’t child proofed (as Tammy & David indicate on their listing) so if you are traveling with small children you may need to bring a few things (eg. high chair). We positioned a bench across the stairs to the lower area to ensure our toddler was safe. The home provided everything we needed for our stay, we just had to add food and beverages. Both Tammy & David responded quickly to our calls and emails. We would definitely return to this home should we have reason to be in Sault Ste Marie again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with our family.
