wonderful break

Lovely host, and animal family. Plenty of room for us all, with all facilities to hand. A host of animals on the doorstep including chickens, ducks and goats, but not forgetting the dog..! There was also a chance to buy fabulous butter and Camembert from the farm up the road. This Gite can quite honestly be described as a MUST VISIT..!

Super gîte

Ce n'est pas un adieu mais un au revoir Christophe car nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le gîte propre, fonctionnel, agréable. Des livres et BD pour les amateurs, de la documentation sur la région. L'environnement est top avec la terrasse, le jardin et tous les animaux. Les enfants se sont régalés avec les poules, coqs, oies et poussins (au sens figuré bien sûr...) quoique les oeufs donnés par le propriétaire permettent aussi de parler au sens propre. La ferme en face permet de s'approvisionner en camembert, crème fraîche, beurre, lait. Hôte sympathique, disponible et arrangeant. Bref allez y les yeux fermés (mais attention aux trois marches à l'entrée tout de même...)

Erholung und Ruhe vom Alltag

In traumhafter ländlicher Umgebung konnten wir uns erholen. Unser Vermieter war sehr angenehm und immer hilfsbereit. Er gab uns Tipps, was man besichtigen kann, wo schöne Strände sind und wo man gut essen kann. Unser Hund konnte im großen Garten frei laufen. Rundum war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einem alten normannischen Steinhaus.Merci beaucoup Christoph

Wonderful few days

We had a brilliant stay in La Rochelle-Normande. The kids absolutely loved feeding and petting the farm animals. We had delicious fresh milk and camembert from the farm across the road. Christophe was a fantastic host and we hope to come back.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans le gîte de Christophe. Le gîte est confortable et très bien équipé. Le jardin avec les animaux (cheval, chèvres, poules, oies...et la chienne Dora) est un paradis pour les enfants. Nous avons également profité des conseils de Christophe pour visiter la région (Granville, l'abbaye de la Lucerne, les caramels cara-meuh...).Sans parler du Mont-Saint-Michel, magnifique ! Typical french gite, very basic but everything you need.

Lovely rural location, ideal to unwind. Near enough to all the tourist attractions and the beach but secluded and quiet. This is our second stay but not our last.

Séjour très agréable

Gîte très agréable, rénové et décoré avec goût. Très bien équipé. Les amoureux des animaux et de la nature ne pourront que s'y plaire. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire qui est soucieux du bien être de ses hôtes. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce gite et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. A bientôt ;-)

Un très beau séjour dans ce gîte très agréable et tout confort, entouré de verdure et d'animaux. Le propriétaire est très gentil et nous a offert des oeufs coques de ses poules le soir de notre arrivée. Un délice. Vivement le prochain séjour !

Fantastic cottage

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cottage in August 2016. The cottage is superb - really well located close to beaches and Avarranches and Granville. Our 3 children had a great time - all the accessories needed for a baby - highchair, cot etc and our boys loved the gardens and animals in the grounds. The cottage was spotless and contained everything that we needed. We particularly enjoyed the coffee machine! Christophe was a fantastic host - there if we needed him but leaving us to enjoy our holiday at the same time. We all fell in love with Dora! We will definitely return and would highly recommend the cottage to friends and family.

Ländlich ruhig und super angenehm

Sehr ruhige und ländliche Lage, aber sehr gut erreichbar und mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten innert wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Mont St. Michel, Saint Malo oder Granville oder auch die D-Day-Strände. Der Vermieter ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung mit Tieren ist echt entspannend - kein Lärm, nichts! Für Grossstadtgeplagte der ideale Urlaubsort. Die Einrichtung umfasst alles, was man für den Alltag braucht. Gut ausgestattete Küche und Grill im Garten. Gerne wieder einmal! Merci Christophe, c'était super!

Gite campagnard très agréable

Gite très agréable, bien équipé et bien entretenu. L'endroit est très calme et proche des quelques animaux de la ferme. L’accueil par le propriétaire est très chaleureux. Nous vous conseillons le restaurant "La Pause des Genêts" à Genêts.

Un très bon week-end à la campagne

La location est idéalement située, au calme, en pleine nature, entourée de chèvres, d'un cheval, de poules, d'un chien..... le paradis des enfants ! En pratique le logement dispose de tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Le propriétaire est très agréable. En gros, on y retourne dès qu'on peut. :)

Gite très agréable

Gite au calme à la campagne tout en étant très proche de la mer. Accueil convivial et très sympathique de Mr Clatigny. Ce corps de ferme a été rénové récemment avec beaucoup de soins. Juste un petit bémol pour la localisation., nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver le hameau dans cette petite commune. A recommander.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Strand und Sehenswürdigkeiten (le Mont St. Michel) sehr nahe. Ausstattung sehr gut, Zimmer sehr groß, Betten neu und bequem, Vermieter superfreundlich und unkompliziert. Hund, Hühner, Pferd und Ziegen waren für die Kinder klasse. Einfach wunderschön! Un gite très sympa

Nous sommes venu passer un week end dans cette maison. Un très bon week-end malgré le temps qui lui était moins bon. La maison est très fonctionnelle, très agréable et le jardin le paradis des enfants (un poney, des poules, des biquettes et un chien !!!).Le propriétaire est très sympathique (merci encore pour les bons oeufs de vos poules !!!) La maison est vraiment très bien équipé. Nous gardons cette adresse car nous comptons bien revenir pour finir de visiter le coin !!! Je vous recommande cette location.
