Excellent location, friendly hosts

This appartment is extremely well located near Sarlat and within the vicinity of many interesting places. Friendly, discrete hosts that were at our service when needed: we missed a hairdryer (which was mentioned in the house description) and they immediately solved that. Appartment was very cool which was welcome with day temperatures of +35°C. Only downside: the appartment is very damp (known to the hosts) and the mechanical ventilation does not entirely solve this.

This is a beautiful villa in a stunning rustic location that works really well for a big group looking for in a private setting away from the madness of Taormina. It’s close enough (20 min drive) to go for dinner and sightseeing, but honestly so much more pleasant than staying among the throngs of tourists. The kitchen and outdoor eating areas worked really well for group meals and hanging out. The swimming pools are very nice with amazing views of Mt Etna. There’s not much in Trappitello, the nearby town, but there is a small grocery store and a good place for fish. We ended up doing big shops in Giardini Naxos. Everything at the property was tasteful and comfortable and clean. Note that air conditioning isn't included but it’s available and it was definitely necessary to be comfortable the time of year we stayed (June). Due to parking challenges jn Taormina we sometimes took an uber which was less hassle than driving to Taormina. It was easier to park in Giardini Naxos but we could also get a van for 6 for 20 euros so sometimes did that if we were going out. Overall it was a great place that we would love to return to.

Net appartement op de begane grond met terras in mooie grote tuin. Rustige landelijke omgeving. Dichtbij Sarlat en vele andere toeristische sites in de Perigord Noir. We hebben er en genoten. Aardige en vriendelijke eigenaars.

Très bons séjours entre amis. Le logement était conforme aux attentes et très bien situé. Une petite remarque concernant les affaires mises à disposition ou nous ne disposons pas de certaines choses (ex : tapis de douche) excepté draps et serviettes qui eux sont compris dans un supplément. L’hôte est disponible et répond aux questions. Merci pour le logement.

L'endroit est idyllique pour qui aime la nature: un grand jardin fleuri et arboré (des arbres magnifiques !) où de superbes poules (et un coq qui, rassurez-vous, ne chante pas à l'aube 😉) se promènent en liberté, des jeux pour les enfants (balançoires, trampoline, cabane en bois), prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse était un moment très agréable. L'appartement est propre, agréable et fonctionnel et la propriétaire très accueillante. Bref, je reviendrai sans hésiter pour un futur séjour dans le Périgord !

Situation agréable (campagne, calme mais très proche de Sarlat et du réseau routier principal)

Propriétaires discrets mais disponibles et très aimables. Cadre (jardin, ombragé, calme, pratique pour enfants) très adapté. Pas de climatisation mais appartement en sous-sol, frais en été et bien ventilé a permis de ne pas ressentir les effets de la canicule (36-37 en extérieur pendant plusieurs jours). Manque une machine à laver le linge. Fournitures de cuisine un peu courtes. Manque sur le site de réservation des précisions sur la localisation : notamment le fait qu’il s’agit de la Font Margoux ainsi que sur la nécessité de préserver draps, serviettes et torchons. Sinon très bon lieu de séjour, que nous recommanderions.
