  • Location! Location! Location! Our home has been renovated and designer decorated. This 1650 sq ft, 2 storey home comfortably sleeps 4, with ocean views. The open concept main floor has a gourmet kitchen and powder room. Wake up in the morning, walk out on your private balcony and enjoy the ocean view from the master bedroom with a full ensuite and walk in closet. The second bedroom with full ensuite and plenty of closet space features a walk out private balcony with a view of the garden and pool. Under 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping or movie theater. Located on a hill top, our home is not for people with mobility issues since there are 2 flights of stairs from the parking to the front door.

    Fully air conditioned, internet, bbq, parking, 2 televisions, laundry and fully stocked kitchen.

    Centrally located only 30 minutes from Liberia Airport, Playa Hermosa is a quiet town with a gorgeous beach, plenty of restaurants, private tours, snorkeling, live music, sunset cruises and deep sea fishing. Enjoy day trips to the rain forest, zip lining and surfing. Sorry, no pets.

Easy relaxation

Carolyn is an amazing host who called us prior to our visit to talk about the accommodation and Playa Hermosa. She was readily available with any questions we had. The kitchen is completely stocked with all the gadgets you can imagine as well as a huge array of pantry basics such as spices, oil, vinegar, etc. The beach is close and beautiful. We also enjoyed relaxing in the pool. Outstanding accommodation for a family!

Amazing all the way!!

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn's villa, and she is an excellent host who was readily available at all times. The villa was in a great location; 10 min walk to beach, 30 min drive to Liberia airport, 10 min to Playa Coco and 1.15 hr to Tamarindo. It is in impeccable order, has great design and tasteful decor. Everything was extremely well stocked and it is large unit with a well thought out floor plan. The pool is nice and big and very clean. We saw the monkeys every day, practically in our backyard! What more can I say about this place, we all loved it. I highly recommend Carolyn's place to anyone!

Lovely house, great beach

This house is within a ten minutes walking distance from the beaches of Playa Hermosa (a few minutes by car or bike). It is large and spacious and very tastefully put together. Everything is in excellent condition (a/c, pool [shared with other units in the development], kitchen, bathrooms). The owner thoughtfully provides toiletries, towels, spices and asks only that you replace if something runs out. I would definitely recommend this place, particularly for a family with children.
