With shaded palapas, an outdoor kitchen, poolside lounging and ocean-view terraces, the villa feels like your own private resort—without ever leaving the property. Spend the day swimming, relaxing and dining outdoors, then watch the sun set over the coast. The beach is just minutes away, but you may find it surprisingly easy to stay home.

We manage over 100 vacation rentals in the area, so our hosting style is a little different than that of an individual host. During your stay, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Casa Montaña is located within the gated Hermosa Montaña community, approximately a 2-minute drive from Playa Hermosa and 3 minutes from a local grocery store. Playas del Coco is about 10 minutes away, while Guanacaste International Airport (LIR) is approximately 30 minutes by car.

Playa Hermosa is a relaxed beach community just minutes from Playas del Coco, offering a quieter alternative to its livelier neighbor while still being close to restaurants, shops and activities. The beach is known for its gentle waves, making it a great spot for swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Playa Hermosa also holds Blue Flag certification, recognizing its commitment to environmental quality, cleanliness and safety.

The area has a good selection of restaurants, cafés and local conveniences, while Playas del Coco is just a short drive away for a wider variety of shopping, dining, nightlife and water-based excursions. The location also makes Playa Hermosa a convenient home base for exploring the beaches, wildlife and other attractions of Guanacaste.

Casa Montaña is a spacious hillside villa designed around indoor-outdoor living, with sweeping views of the Pacific and Gulf of Papagayo. The expansive main living area connects to a massive kitchen and dining spaces, while large doors open toward the pool terrace and outdoor living areas. Modern finishes, comfortable furnishings and abundant natural light create an inviting setting for groups to relax and spend time together.

Outside, the villa feels like a private resort of its own. The infinity pool is surrounded by loungers and shaded palapas, with a covered rancho featuring a gas grill, bar and beverage fridges. Multiple outdoor seating and dining areas give everyone room to spread out, whether you're swimming, enjoying a meal, listening to music or settling in for sunset.

📍 GOOD TO KNOW
- The Junior Suite and both Queen Suites are accessed from outside the main living area rather than through an interior hallway. The Junior Suite has its own entrance near the side of the home, while both Queen Suites have their own poolside exterior entrances. This layout provides additional privacy but may not be ideal for guests who prefer all bedrooms to connect directly to the interior of the house.
- Rental car recommended: A vehicle is recommended for getting around the area. The villa is set atop a steep hillside and is not easily walkable to area amenities. Our Vacation Specialists can assist with rental-car arrangements.
- Water systems: The property has a water filtration/softening system and a reserve water tank.
- Beach access: Playa Hermosa is just minutes away by car.
- No pets or smoking: Pets are not permitted and smoking is not permitted inside the property.
