Welcomed by a large fountain reminiscent of a Mediterranean countryside, “Villa Paradiso” will immediately transport you to a place where you can breathe deep & relax with your fo& family. It is 5 minutes to Siesta Key, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the US. Once on the Key, there is a huge public beach, lots of "access" points along the way for private entry to the beach, and a fun village filled with souvenir shops and restaurants. The house is situated on a private, quiet street “west of the trail’, which is highly desirable if you’re not familiar! Right next to a park, you can take a shaded walk, watch your children play on the expansive playground, toss a frisbee or football, or drop a kayak into the bay and go exploring without ever having to get in your car! Location is also very convenient to downtown Sarasota restaurants and museums, the famous St. Armand's Circle, Longboat Key and Lido Beach. This home is also close to Publix, Trader Joe's, Detwiler's and Costco, and all shopping on Tamiami Trail including Target and a shopping mall! Terracotta tile floors throughout this spacious home will make you feel like you're at an island destination. The master bedroom has a king bed, sliding glass doors to the pool area, and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with double doors, overlooking the yard & pool area, with an adjoining jack-and-jill bathroom that has an additional two-sink vanity and large walk-thru closet. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, along with a spacious desk & printer. All beds have 12" memory foam mattresses and beautiful linens. Open plan living room has extremely comfortable sectional seating & sliding glass doors to front covered patio. Dining table seats 6 or 7 if you use the additional dining bench, overlooking the pool through sliding glass doors & windows. The kitchen is well-appointed with high end cookware, flatware, serving pieces and sharp knives… along with just about anything else you could possibly want in the kitchen! There is a grill in the backyard with all the grilling tools you will need. Covered front patio with ceiling lights & fans is tucked under a metal roof - the perfect place to dine or sit in the swinging chair, even in the rain! The private pool is yours alone, and if you've swam in a salt water pool before, you know how soft and luxurious the water feels. Three feet deep at each end, gently sloping to five feet in the center - perfect for volleyball! There is an outdoor shower with hot & cold water located on the pool patio. It is a family friendly house, equipped with books and games and even a pack and play! There is also a separate driveway and hookup for a boat, motor home or RV - Plenty of parking! Cozy and Comfy home perfect for our family vacation. Area is close enough to the beach but far enough from hussle and bustle and only about 2-hours from the parks in Orlando too! Julia is exceptional at communication and is extremely pleasant to deal with. The home has everything you need, is very clean and the pool with lanai is perfect! Secluded garden area with great pool. Comfortable beds and seating. Easy access to Siesta Key Beach and all area restaurants and services. Grandkids loved the swings. We stayed at Julia’s place in Sarasota for 10 days over New Years. We had a wonderful time. It was just the break that we needed from the stress and cold back home. The home is clean, well maintained, and well appointed. Also Julia was the consummate professional. She communicated clearly and checked in periodically to see that we had everything we needed.There was a miscommunication (no one’s fault) and Julie worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. The home was great and very relaxing. The pool was exceptional with all the play toys. The kitchen was ready for cooking with all the tools provided. I used the grill😀😀!! The beds were very nice and clean. We actually arrived a day early by mistake and the owner was accommodating so we didn’t need to find a hotel. Julia’s home was the best stocked and equipped rental home we’ve stayed at! Every kitchen item you could need, plenty of supplies for the laundry and dishwasher, towels and linens, etc. The home is centered around the pool which was amazing. Siesta and Lido beaches are easy to get to and park. Lots of nice restaurants around in close proximity. Really nothing else we could ask for! ##### Kelcy M. Even though you’re in the heart of a neighborhood, you’ve got your privacy and the house is surrounded with tropical plants and flowers. It’s a beautiful place and we will definitely be back. It was close to any store you’d need to go to and a short drive to the beach. The pool is so nice! Julia was attentive and was around to help with anything we needed. The property offers a private feel with the landscaping and fences and the pool was a nice addition for our stay. We spent a good deal of time on the private, covered front porch listening to music and talking. The beaches are close and it’s a short walk to Phillippi Estate Park which has great walking trails, fishing peers and other amenities. I’d recommend this house for anyone looking for a casual, private place to enjoy Sarasota with family and friends. And Julia is a fantastic host! ##### Jerry L. Location is awesome. Everything is within 5 minutes or less drive. Around the corner is a beautiful walk to an amazing bay view. The house has everything you can think of and more. Spacious and plenty of room inside and outside the gorgeous property. The owner, Julia, is so sweet and very friendly. She is easy to get in touch with and communicates very easily. A lovely little garden area for children to walk around and explore. Julie was very responsive to any little need and checked in on us regularly. This off island location in a quiet private neighborhood just 3 miles from siesta key beach and downtown area was perfect. Close to all the family, friendly attractions too. Our stay at was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The space was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. We loved the cozy ambiance and all the little touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The backyard is a lush wonderland of gorgeous trees and plants, and is fully fenced, so great for dogs. The location is fantastic – quiet, yet close enough to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We especially appreciated the gorgeous artwork, the snacks left for us in the living room, the starter house goods like toilet paper and laundry detergent, the lovely bed spreads. The owner was so sweet about keeping the pool warm. It made our stay extra special. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we had everything we needed to prepare meals. The host was incredibly welcoming, and we felt well taken care of during our entire stay.Overall, this property was the perfect choice for our trip, and we can’t wait to come back. The house was nice and the it had plenty of room for 5 guests. The pool was nice but virtually unusable because the water was so cold. We stayed at the home 3.5 days and the pool was never hotter then 74 even with 90 degree sunny days. Also at nights you cannot sit outside because of the bugs Daytime you can sit out without any issues. One thing that needs to be attended to ASAP is all the tables need to be tightened. They were very wobbly and we all feared that they would collapse if leaned on. Distance to the beach is a 10 minute drive just so people know. All in all Julia was a great host and very attentive. ##### Drew D. The location is beyond perfect! Less than 10 min from Seista Key beach and everything you could possibly need from groceries to take out minutes away. Even the “touristy” places were all about 20 minutes from the house. Also, the neighborhood backs up to the Phillippi Park which is great for kids and the dog. The one thing I would say is the backyard needs some attention. We have a mini poodle and if he was an escape artist he could have easily got under the fence. Since he’s small and the yard is somewhat overgrown we walked him most days. Other than that, I have to say that Julia is 100% a super host! We had a minor house emergency and she was quick to respond and get someone to the house On A Sunday! All this while she was out of the county. She checked in with us on 2 other occasions. Our vacation was for 9 nights and I could have easily stayed longer. Julia definitely made everything run smoothly and we hope to stay there again! ##### Kathryn C.
