The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s literally just across the street from the beach, which was super convenient. The biggest disappointment was the beach umbrellas. They only have 5 umbrellas for both Tropic Isle and Seaside, which makes no sense, especially on Fourth of July weekend??? There weren’t any extras either. Five umbrellas are nowhere near enough for all the guests for both locations?? We didn’t bring our own beach gear because we expected the hotel to have enough umbrellas available. The room looked clean when we arrived, but when I took a shower, I noticed hair stuck to the shower walls, which was pretty gross and there was some hair on towels. Overall, the location is great there are a lot of things to eat nearby but the lack of beach umbrellas and the cleanliness of the bathroom were disappointing.

From what we could see, the Tropic Isle rooms were very nice. However, our room had some maintenance / construction work done the day prior, and the staff thought it was too dusty for anyone to stay, so they upgraded us to a REALLY nice room on the Sea Breeze property. The room was beautiful, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a very large flat screen TV. Best of all, our window had a panoramic view of the ocean. Step off the back patio, and you were literally on the beach. The view from our room was almost surreal. Thanks so much to the staff for such a spectacular upgrade, with no need for us to complain about the first room. They took the initiative and went the extra mile for us. Very much appreciated!

Proximity to the beach was excellent- right across the street. The hotel room was clean and fresh feeling. Check in was a little confusing as it’s not on the property and obscurely located but I was able to speak to someone on the phone who walked me through it. It is also close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Overall great location, stay and definitely coming back.

The location was excellent, especially for beach access. Providing beach chairs and umbrellas was a great bonus. The room was very clean and felt fresh and comfortable.The only downsides were that there was no microwave in the room, and the noise from the guests upstairs was quite noticeable. We could constantly hear footsteps, which made it a bit difficult to fully relax.Overall, it was a good stay, but a bit more soundproofing and basic room amenities would make it perfect.

The property seems like it was recently renovated and is very well kept. The staff is very helpful and changed our towels every time we asked… our room was great, with a beautiful bathroom (a big plus for my wife). The pool is clean and with a lot of chairs, but during our stay people barely used… there are only six beach chairs and umbrellas. We had no problem finding one…the beach is the jewel of this property, only 2 minutes walk. Definitely we will come back to this area or even to this Inn. We loved it.

Bad experience- came back to the room from dinner in the evening and key/ wristband wouldn’t work, Went to the front desk 3 times, new bands were given to us but still couldn’t get into our room, We stood outside the room for almost 2 hours before maintenance could get us in. Front desk didn’t apologize once and were very nonchalant about the entire situation. We then had to pack up and move to another room, by this time it was almost midnight. And to top it off, we pulled down the sheets to go to bed and a baby roach ran across the bed. When I spoke to the manager the next morning, she never apologized and didn’t flinch at all when I told her about the roach in the sheets. They gave me a small discount on one night, which I felt was really pathetic. Poor customer service, I will NOT be returning.
