The home comfortably sleeps 16 persons in beds via 5 king beds, 1 full over full bunk bed, and 1 twin over twin bunk bed. The great room includes the chef's kitchen with beverage bar, living space, and dining areas of the home. The chef's kitchen and beverage bar are fully stocked with all the products and manufacturers that you've told us you want in your guest feedback! This home also has a club room, or secondary living space. Just off the great room and club room spaces you'll find oversized balconies with seating and dining. Floor Plan Description: Ground Level: This home provides free parking for up to 4 vehicles (2 covered and 2 in driveway). The home's beach equipment is stored in the pool patio, which includes 2 beach wagons, 2 coolers, 6 beach chairs, and 4 bikes. We include a full refrigerator and deep freezer here as well for easy storage of food, drinks, and ice, so your beach prep and breakdown, and your use of the home and pool is that much easier as well. The ground level space features the fully fenced pool and back yard area, including the covered patio space. You'll find yourself at the pool and covered patio constantly as the pool provides so much, and the adjacent covered patio includes an open floor plan with soft seating, dining table for 8 persons, a large smart TV, ping pong, and an outdoor grill (natural gas) for the perfect outdoor living space. There are ceiling fans throughout this space for added comfort. From the ground level, you'll also access the home's main entrance foyer with elevator to the home's two (2) living levels above and stairs to all floors including the rooftop deck. The First Level of Living (2nd Floor): Features the Great Room with fully stocked chef's kitchen that includes: a full-sized refrigerator and freezer (with ice maker), dishwasher, wall mounted double ovens, oversized cooktop with vent hood, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. It is very well appointed with cookware, bakeware, dishware, cutlery, and specialty items like crockpots, blenders, and more. The great room also includes a custom dining table for 8, island bar top seating for 6, and a living room with a smart TV, and a half-bath. There is a balcony off this space, offering additional dining for 6 and other seating options. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor. Bedrooms 3 and 4 feature king beds, both with balcony access and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Bedroom 6, the bunk room, features 2 sets of custom-built bunk beds, a full over full bunk bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. This bunk room has an en-suite bathroom that has a vanity and shower/tub combination. The laundry room with 2 stackable washer/dryer units and a half bath are on this level as well. The Second Level of Living (3rd Floor): The club room, or secondary living area, is featured on this level. It provides a wet bar, beverage fridge, foosball table, a living area with a large TV and gaming consoles - Nintendo and PS4\. The club room has access to a large balcony space with seating and access to the rooftop deck (via spiral stairs), providing stunning Gulf of Mexico, Lido Key, and downtown Sarasota views. There are also 3 bedrooms on this floor, including the 2 master bedrooms. Master bedroom 1 offers balcony access with seating and rooftop deck access, and features a king bed, large closet, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with double vanities, large shower, free-standing bathtub. This quaint balcony space provides seating and views and provides the perfect space for enjoying sunrises and sunsets, and open views of Lido Key, St. Armand's Circle, the Gulf of Mexico, and the downtown Sarasota skyline. Getting Around: This luxury home on Lido Key has a phenomenal location, just steps from the world renown white sand beaches of Lido Key that are known for their -shelling', and just a short bike ride (4-min) or enjoyable walk to St. Armand's Circle (10-min) where you'll have access to Lido Key's best restaurants, shops, entertainment, and more! The house did not disappoint. Having the elevator for my elderly dad made things so much easier for him. He was able to enjoy all levels of the home. The check-in was very smooth. The accommodations were more than we ever expected. The property management was in constant contact with us to make sure that everything was going fine. The property is easily within walking distance to the ocean but we did have, a golf cart which made things a little easier. This place has everything you want and more. Very private and the beach is a block away. The shops are right up the street and have everything you want from food, ice cream, gelato, unique gifts and more. Would 110% rent this place again. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Kitchen very well stocked to host several large family dinners. Location was more perfect than Literally a 2-minute walk to the beach, and nice saunter to St. Armand's Circle, and just a few minutes drive to downtown Sarasota to go grocery shopping or go out to eat. The hot tub heater broke one night and Vunique was immediately responsive, sending maintenance over the very next morning. We definitely hope to come back soon! ##### elisa s. Our family of 8 stayed at Shore Thing in Lido Key for a week. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The room layout was perfect for our group and offered enough privacy for everyone. Each room has its own private bathroom which was also great. The pool area was private and the shaded areas around it offered the perfect escape from the sun after mornings at the beach. The beach is a short walk from the property and St. Armand's Circle is very close. The house offered everything you could need for a large group. Communication with our property manager was great. Leading up to our trip they provided every detail that you could think of and were quick to answer any questions. The check in process was easy and our property manager gave us a full tour, overview of the property and was great about communicating throughout our trip to help answer any questions. The home is well laid out w nice bedrooms, and the # of bathrooms is amazing. The “soft” product - kitchen items, towels, etc is the best I’ve ever experienced in breadth, quantity & quality. The property is clearly expertly managed, w quick communication & incredible cleaning (seriously, the home seemed brand new upon arrival). Now for the caveats / negatives — most important, the home has a fairly significant issue with sound. Maybe due to an overall lack on insulation when it was built, alongside the use of thin doors, minimal thick fabrics/furnitures, and the high ceilings (which we otherwise LOVE of course). You can hear a person speaking on the opposite side of the home, on a floor above/below. If you’re traveling w a group who goes to sleep/wakes up at the same time, this will be no issue whatsoever. We had some earlier risers (kids) & later sleepers (not their parents) and this was impactful, as you really can’t sleep later than the first person who wakes up and walks around / uses the home. We found similarly that you could hear people in the pool next door from the upper br, as an example (and they weren’t being particularly loud). Additionally, the water pressure throughout the house is very, very weak. This really is a great home, but not knowing about the sound “issues” in other reviews was a surprise. Assuming it’s not a problem for you, this is a 100% recommended rental. Amazing location, layout, and more ##### David H. It was everything the pictures showed and more! The whole family enjoyed the pool/spa area with the slide and water features. We utilized the grill, beach chairs, wagons and coolers, also. It was wonderful to have those available. The host (Robert) was very attentive. We were celebrating birthdays on our trip and was welcomed with a birthday balloon, cake and a bottle of wine. That was so thoughtful! We had a few fixes that were needed and the property manager Robert was very responsive whenever I had a question. He went above and beyond! The whole family loved the beach and shell hunting! We found alot and everyone was thrilled! We, also enjoyed going to the "St. Armands Circle" too. There was lots of shopping, great food, and we all enjoyed Arcade Monsters and Daiquiri Deck. The house was amazing with several gathering spaces and essentially 5 master suites. Plenty of space for our party of 13 the youngest of which were teens. It was as great as the photos made the property out to be. Pool and spa were refreshing. View from crowes nest was gorgeous. Management company was very on top of it and professional. The beach wagons and coolers came in handy. Easy walk to beach and the resort nearby which had very good food and drinks. Very convenient to St Armands. Great location overall. Mosquitoes were prevalent. Sprayed on Thursday which helped. One suggestion for owners is to change out barn doors for upstairs rear BRs for improved privacy. ##### Justin K.
