Upon entering the home, you are greeted with a living room with a comfortable seating arrangement. There is a formal dining room with seating for up to six people and an eat-in kitchen towards the rear of the house that is fully stocked with everything you need to make delicious meals at home. The rear door in the kitchen leads to an outdoor dining table with ambient lighting at night for meals al fresco. After dinner, relax with your favorite drink around the firepit in this private backyard. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and access to the two bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a walk-in shower in the master bedroom. Both bedrooms are appointed with luxurious sheets and bedding for a restful night's sleep. With a lovely neighborhood park in walking distance, many guests consider bringing their furry companion along. Dogs are considered with a non-refundable pet fee of $200 plus tax. Please reach out for approval. This comfortable private home is located just minutes from downtown Sarasota where you will find many options for dining, shopping, and nightlife. Take your dog for a stroll to Whitaker Gateway Park within walking distance from the home and includes a nice playground with restrooms, a picnic area. and beautiful views of the bay. No trip to Sarasota would be complete without going to one of the world-class white sand beaches nearby. Siesta Key Beach is 8 miles (20-25 minutes) and Lido Beach is 5 miles (15-20 minutes) from the home. Check out St Armand's Circle near Lido Beach for additional shopping and great restaurant choices. Got heating working and all was fine! Great history to the house, very well equipped, v comfy lounge and everything very spacious. Outside space and grill used a lot. Very convenient location, we golfed a lot which meant no course more than about 30 mins drive and St Armands 10 mins in car. The beds were the worst beds I've ever slept on, that is my only complaint lol the white couche was a little dirty and stained but overall it was a clean house, absolutely loved the kitchen. It had everything you would need, washer and dryer onset, which was great. The location was far from everything in my opinion but if you dont mind the traffic and driving then its a good spot. Siesta Key Beach was about 35-40 minutes away so if you're looking for something closer, this wouldn't work. We traveled with 2 toddlers and thought it was a lot closer to beaches etc but it wasn't. Check in was easy, check out was SUPER early (10am) and they were literally pulling into the driveway at 9:55 to make sure we were gone. We just got into done loading up thankfully, so we made it out with 5 minutes to spare. I most likely wouldn't book this again because it was far from everything but if you just need a cozy home to stay in while you visit Sarasota, I'd recommend it. Clean, comfortable very relaxing. Absolutely loved our stay. I would rent here again and highly recommend. Beds were very comfortable. The house was adorable and very nicely landscaped both in the front and back. The neighbors on each side were friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there again. It provides quick access to everything -- dining, site seeing, and nice walks in the area. The home has everything you need. It is spacious and clean, has great wifi, and comfortable beds. The outdoor space is nice for evenings. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon. ##### jennifer f. Very much loved area and walking distance to Downtown mainstreets and local beaches. I did not like that the windows were sealed shut! No screens on any doors allowing for airflow and had an older musty smell. No ventilation fans in bathrooms. But although we loved the rest of the home and would book again. ##### Cara G.
