We walked to the grocery, library, lectures, opera, symphony, live theater, book stores, galleries, movies including an art house down the street, botanical garden, waterfront park, jazz wine bar, restaurants with every cuisine imaginable, small businesses selling everything, and clothing and home goods resale shops that benefit non-profits. We enjoyed the quiet patio with an umbrella table. The owners are super and attentive to every need of their guests. We walked to the transit center nearby to catch convenient busses to St. Armand’s Circle, the Mote Aquarium, and more. This home allowed us to relax and smell the flowers, literally. I would highly recommend this historic home in Burns Court. It was just perfect for our four day stay in Sarasota. Very clean and nicely decorated. Fully stocked kitchen. Short walk to many restaurants and short ride to Beach. We enjoyed the bricked back patio. Hated to leave this gem! ##### Deborah E. The cottage is in a quiet street, opposite an excellent restaurant, alongside similar cottages built in the 1920s. There is a good movie theatre at the end of the street. The cottage is conveniently located, a ten minute walk from Main Street and the Bayfront area, and a short drive from the beaches on the keys. The cottage is well equipped - it had everything my wife and I wanted; and it is in very good decorative order, with lots of art that we really enjoyed.
