Wonderful little cottage off the beaten path. Quiet and cute, has everything you need for a stay in Sarasota. Communication with host Nigel was excellent. When we checked in there was no hair drier but he quickly remedied that situation. We enjoyed our stay greatly. The only problem we had with the property was that it was a little tricky to exit the property as it was a little tight to turn the car around in order to drive forward onto the main road. It’s a minor inconvenience otherwise this is a 5 Star property.
Yhe cottage is clean, filled with everything you may need, including great books and games, and it's very private. The outside deck was nice with morning coffee and everything is a short car or Uber ride away.
This is my second stay at the cottage and it was just as pleasant as the first. It's extremely private, quiet and surrounded by a lovely garden. The host is wonderful and check in was seamless. I'm looking forward to further stays
Perfect location for our Sarasota adventures. Thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine as well as water bottles and fizzy water sodas. Comfortable queen bed with plenty of pillows.
What a beautiful little slice of heaven! The cottage was even better than we’d hoped for. Clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back!
Perfect home base at the end of a long beach day, being gated felt like we were in our own little bubble. Nigel has super helpful with quick resolution when I had trouble with the key. All in all, good stay.
Secluded, well-stocked, comfortable and convenient to Ed Smith Stadium. Beaches and St. Armands were 30-40 minutes away. The bathroom was a step up from the bedroom, so this house is not appropriate for anyone handicapped.
Felt like home. So comfortable. Has everything you need and more. Many extras. Our host was so gracious even to our friends who picked us up there. I recommend the cottage. The location is perfect. Off the main road but only about 1/2 block
The 1920's Cottage was absolutely a wonderful stay with beautiful gardens and wildlife and very tranquil and very accessible to other places. We enjoyed Lido beach north and Sarasota downtown and took a drive within an hour to Saint Petersburg a very trendy and beautiful city.
Our host Nigel was very kind and accommodating.
Great location for Spring Training games at Ed Smith stadium. Funky and cute little cottage in back yard of owner’s house, on a gated property. Cottage was well appointed. Bathroom light switch is in bedroom not bathroom. Closets are in living room not bedroom. Some water damage at front door prevents door opening all the way, but didn’t prevent entry/egress. Owners were very responsive to communications. Had use of nice full size washer and dryer and detergent…great perk! Parking is best for a small/mid-size car to safely position car to be facing out for safe exit onto road. Cottage is not in a typical neighborhood, so don’t expect to have a place for a nice morning or evening stroll. But location is awesome for getting to stadium and around and about for restaurants, etc.
We spent an entire month at Nigel and Simone‘s cottage. it was simply wonderful, an experience we will treasure for the rest of our lives. The cottage is cozy, comfortable, clean, and completely welcoming. The term “premier host” is sometimes used a bit too casually. Nigel and Simone are simply the best hosts we have encountered in our extensive travels. There were a few very minor issues that needed attention, mostly because we’re not so great at handling new equipment. But Nigel was always responsive very quickly to our requests and took care of everything immediately. One of the best aspects of this rental is the extensive amount of equipment that is available; beach, chairs, camping chairs, blankets, umbrella, everything you need for the beach and enough for at least four people. We had some family come down, and we never had to worry about having enough equipment; one camping chair, broke, and within a day Nigel presented us with two brand new chairs. Where do you get that kind of service? The location is convenient to downtown Sarasota, the beach, Selby gardens, the airport, and every kind of shopping imaginable.
The host was very welcoming. The place was very quiet and cozy. Was very central and close to so many things and places. Would definitely return and book.
