The house was perfect for our trip to the High Peaks. It was a great location on the pond. The house had a nice array of bedrooms and beds to accommodate our larger group. Convenient positioned between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, plenty of parking, we had 4 cars but you could fit at least 6\. The owner lives next door and is quick to reply and respond to any issues. We took advantage of the propane grill, hot tub, outdoor fire pit with provided fire wood, 6 ADK chairs, additional camp chairs, 2 kayaks, 3 paddle boards with PFDs provided. There was also a charcoal grill and row boat available. We liked how each of the 5 adult bedrooms had a private bathroom. Some kitchen items are provided depending on how ambitious you plan to be. We very much enjoyed the mornings and evenings on this quiet, private pond. Other than the two fisherman we saw, we had the pond to ourselves and saw many painted turtles, a blue heron, humming birds and a snapping turtle on our summer weekend visit.
