Relax and unwind at Our Mountain Oasis! Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath, single story home is easy on your back, no need to lug suitcases up or down flights of stairs. The open floor plan provides the perfect gathering place for family and friends but when it is time for some quiet seclusion, each bedroom is located for privacy. Our home includes 2 suites on opposite sides of the house, each with it's own private, uncovered deck to enjoy your early morning coffee. In the living room, 2 sets of large sliding doors expand the living area further onto a large screened deck with ample seating for relaxing. This is the ideal spot for wine and conversation. The deck also includes a dining area to enjoy your steak fresh off the grill. The elevated deck offers soft breezes and a mountain view that feels as if you are floating in the trees. On cool evenings, lounge in front of one of the gas fireplaces located in the living room or on the deck. Our elegantly rustic home with its beautiful wood accents has a quiet, private ambiance yet you have easy access to the Sapphire Valley Masters Association amenities, local outdoor activities, and even some shopping if you so desire. Whether you are joining us for the solitude of a comfortable home away from home or looking to spend your days packed with outdoor pursuits, we know you will cherish the time you spend here and we will be proud to welcome you back time and time again.

This place has it all!

As a connoisseur of rentals, this is one of the few places I would absolutely return to... great layout, fabulous porch, tasteful decor and extremely well stocked!We took all our Christmas gifts with us and enjoyed a 5-night stay with lots of hiking, playground fun, game nights, fabulous home-cooked meals, and wine. I can't say enough good things about our stay. Maybe next time, we'll go in a bit warmer clime to take advantage of the porch, even though the floor heater and fireplace made it very hospitable for morning coffee wrapped in a blanket.Dorothy, the owner, was fabulous to work with...very responsive and informative.

This was the perfect cabin and location for our 5-night family Christmas. Dorothy was very helpful and accommodating, and the cabin was beautifully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to make for a wonderful getaway. Comfortable, relaxing, and cozy!!

Beautiful mountain home! Home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Loved the screened porch you feel like you are in a treehouse with great view of the mountain. Great location to visit all the neighboring mountain towns as well. Owner is very responsive and provides many nice touches to make your stay feel upscale!

Beautiful home and location!

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home so much! Not only is the house very nice (and so, so clean) but the view is beautiful and it feels very private. The location is perfect. When you're at the house it feels very secluded but it's also very close to so much. We went shopping in Brevard, dining in both Sapphire and Cashiers, and visited several beautiful waterfalls in the area. We loved relaxing on the screened porch with such a nice view. And the large gathering area in the house is so well thought out with separate areas for relaxing in front of the fireplace, watching TV or playing games. Dorothy was very responsive to my questions and so nice to work with. She has really put a lot of thought into making the stay at this home very relaxing and comfortable. And I loved her detailed instruction book! We hope to return for another stay soon!

Wonderful retreat!

What a lovely vacation retreat! Highly recommend this lovely home for a remote and relaxing getaway. Miss Dorothy is the quintessential host and took care of every sweet detail to make our anniversary celebration extra special. Home is beautifully furnished, fully stocked kitchen, plethora of books, games, soaker tub, luxurious bedding, etc. Can’t wait to return!

This house was perfect for the 6 of us. It's nicely furnished, has wonderful beds, and the deck was our favorite gathering place. The host provided a notebook full of information on the house and area. And the bears and deer were delightful!

Truly a Mountain Oasis

Everything was delightful during our stay. So comfortable and cozy, Dorothy makes sure you have everything you need. The home is centrally located to all of Sapphire Valley’s amenities, so no need to travel far for entertainment. We will absolutely be returning.

Weekend of Tranquility

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend away at Mountain Oasis. Our favorite "room" of the clean home is the big, screened in porch which overlooks woods and a mountain in the distance. It was quiet and peaceful which is just what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds super comfortable. We look forward to coming back and staying longer.

Beautiful and comfortable home among the trees and mountains. The screened porch is the best!

Great kitchen with everything you need for a delicious meal. We enjoyed most of our time on the back screened porch talking and reading. The Layout of the entire house is wonderful. Great house for family and friends to gather and spend quality time together.

Mountain respite

The house is as described on the website and was great for a getaway for our family of 5. We enjoyed the screened porch with a nice view and the amenities that were included - pool, lake access, track and basketball court. We had a bear visit in the front yard which was exciting! The host was responsive and friendly. Overall a very nice VRBO experience.

Very nice stay. This was our second trip to Sapphire and our first stay at the property. House was exactly as advertised and had a great view and great location. House was stocked with everything that you may need and some. They thought of it all!! Will definitely be returning maybe I the summer to check out summer activities!!

Beautifully Relaxing!

We booked our stay at this beautiful home and are already wanting to go back! In wanting to plan a short getaway we also wanted to help the area of the Western NC Mountains that had recently sustained so much damage from Hurricane Helene. The home sits where the views are amazing, private and just a short drive to activities. The ability to open the double doors that separate the inside from the screened in porch creates such a relaxing atmosphere. All the rooms are well appointed and allow everyone privacy or gathering together. The owners put a lot of thought into items that would make this feel more like a home than just another vacation property. Every detail was thought out and even provide an extremely detailed guest information book. We ended up staying at the property the majority of our time because of the relaxing environment and all the extra things that are available use (games, fireplace reading, gathering, grilling, etc). From my initial contact with Dorothy she made the whole process of renting her home so easy!

Fantastic Place

We had a wonderful time. Dorothy was so easy to work with, and just such a delight. The best appointed kitchen of any rental house I've ever been in. So quiet and peaceful sitting on the screened in porch. Plenty of room for our group to spread out, or be together eating or playing games. Beds quite comfortable.
