This cabin was just enough room for two people—and although it was tiny, it was well-equipped with everything we needed for the weekend! Very cozy and loved having a TV in the bedroom as well. The only thing I would say was that the tiny home got a bit damp during our stay.
Alysia’s tiny house is perfect for couples, or even solo travelers looking to enjoy the great outdoors and spend a few days on the trails nearby. The property has a secluded feel, but is easy to find thanks to Alysia’s directions, and so close to all of the waterfall trails nearby. The property could be described as no-frills, but it has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable during your stay. I saw a few reviews about the lack of phone service, which is true, however, the Wi-Fi signal is very strong. We turned on our Wi-Fi calling and had zero issues.
The cabin is a well arranged and organized traile, that feels like an actual cabin. Great location, min away from lake Toxoway and beautiful hikes (rainbow falls). The host is very welcoming, great to communicate with, and gave us good advice on local restaurants and hikes. The cabin is well equipped, with everything one might need for a short stay. My only complaint would be that the pictures associated shown are a bit misleading, because one might expect a secluded location with a great view, on the lake or other landscapes; and there is none of that. Instead, the cabin is in the woods, with other houses close by, and the view from the cabin is some kind of unidentified dwelling (power relay?) surrounded by a wired fence. Not what we were expecting. But it’s still a great location (and value for the money) to explore the surrounding areas.
This "tiny house" was just right for my husband and myself. The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything you will need for a perfect stay.. The owner responded to all of my needs and we loved our stay. The house is perfectly located and even though there are RV spots around it they were all unoccupied while we were there so we were totally secluded surrounded by beautiful trees. The front porch is great and has a nice grill with tablr and chairs so you can cook and eat outside surrounded by nature. The bed was comfortable with a nice sized tv on the wall so we could relax and watch tv. It is a small place but we had room for everything we needed. It has a wall unit AC that cools the entire place but honestly the outside is the real jewel. After looking online this was the most affordable place I found so I wasnt expecting much but I was truly surprised. This has to be one of the best deals in the area, especially if youre lucky enough to have the whole area to yourself as we were. I will definetly be back.
This property was exactly what I was seeking. It wasn't fancy, but was near my family, clean and well kept. Communications prior to my visit with the hostess was excellent.
This tiny cabin was a great hub to explore such a beautiful area! The descriptions were perfect and the host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was very clean and had everything I needed. It was also extremely quiet. I would stay again. The road was a little rough, so I would not recommend a low vehicle. The porch was a very nice place to just sit and enjoy the beauty.
Wonderful place, cozy and comfy. Only downside was the neighbors started blasting music at 7pm. I needed the property for the afternoon and had been debating sleeping that night or heading home. With all the noise I decided to drive home instead.
When we arrived the tiny has had not been cleaned, but was taken care of quickly. Tiny house is new and good condition.Driveway needs work as the Honda CRV scraped coming in and out.Would recommend it’s worth a stay!
First, the host is amazing with great recommendations and definitely truly cares about your experience. It is the perfect place to explore western North Carolina. We spent 5 days here and still did not have enough time to even experience half of the things we wanted to do. Gorges State Park has two wonderful waterfalls with swimming holes just minutes from the front door. Not to mention all of the other hiking trails and sights to see.
Second, the house hosts a quaint ambience that is perfect to come back to after your days travels. Kick back, enjoy the campfire, and spend time outside. Not to mention you could make a day just resting at the house reading and eating outside. Everything you need is provided for you and anything you might want is a quick drive down the road.
Lastly, this property is my favorite from all the times I’ve ventured to western North Carolina. I can not emphasize enough how many unique adventures are so close. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need to get away.
